Being healthy does not make me happy. It means going without food because healthy is expensive around here-and what you can get healthy needs unhealthy to taste better (butter with the veggies and rice :D )

littl3chocobo 10-27-2012 12:17 AM

butter is not that bad if you use actual plain unsalted butter and dont eat it constantly and rice is not healthy XD

Yokuutsu 10-27-2012 12:20 AM

I don't know what I use, I get cheap stuff.

And if you saw what I eat normally...you might think differently.

I remember one summer when all I had was ramen and peanut butter. I ended up with a vitamin deficiency which caused signs of psychosis and other things. So Rice is healthier than that. And it's filling. It's healthier than the pizza I ate earlier. Or the food I will eat tomorrow when bubbua takes me and some people to Wimpy's.

WHO SAYS RICE ISN'T HEALTHY?!?!
It's and every day and every meal food for asians!

I like rice with some butter and sugar (family likes it too). It's delicious :D

littl3chocobo 10-27-2012 12:25 AM

rice is nutritionally devoid >>; even the 'enriched' stuff is not that good and seeds are sugar which causes diabeties

Poggio 10-27-2012 12:28 AM

Am I the only one here who actually likes leafy greens?
xD I would eat a good balance of real food and junk food if I had a way to exercise them booth off. My plans for a bike are on hold again.

Yokuutsu 10-27-2012 12:28 AM

Look, I'm doomed to have diabetes anyway. It runs in my family. I am obese. Good food is either fatty....or sugary...or salty....or a combination. Two of those are bad for my chance of not getting diabetes. The other is bad for my heart, blood pressure, and therefore other organs. So yeah.

I'm going to die young anyway considering the problems in my family. -has accepted this- Even if I was, otherwise, healthy.

LOL, then all asians WILL have diabetes when they grow up, but no. I suppose we all have adapted to it.

fat is not evil yuu, in fact there is a /reason/ our bodies crave it but i understand if you cannot get ahold of raw meat to cook yourself but eating shit like mcdonalds makes you fat and sick and puts crap in your body that does not go, it's really not so hard, just don't eat anything you cannot pronounce, it is not the best but it definatly is a good solid step in the right direction, though i recomend eating fat and butter and sweets as long as you don't eat it every damn day and you only eat the real thing

hell, buy a cookbook made before 1940, anything in there i recomend

littl3chocobo 10-27-2012 12:38 AM

there is a serious dysfunction with 'westernized' eating, it is tearing up people badly ;___;

lauv, that is a whole 'nother culture, there are restrictions and stuff on what you can and cannot put in food to sell, there is a different set of regulations on portion and quality and there is the matter of genetics and culture

Yokuutsu 10-27-2012 12:40 AM

I can pronounce a lot of things thanks to Chemistry back in high school.

But the problem is that there isn't much of a choice of where to shop...and then I don't have a job which means my mother may give me like 20 dollars for food about every 4 weeks. Which means ramen and peanut butter all the time except the about 3 days my brother is home every two weeks which means some unhealthy food that could technically be healthier than what I am eating otherwise since it will have protein and a chance of vegetables even if they're deep fried, or on a delicious pizza.

And I'm not big on McDonald's after finding a cockroach in my fries one day. Though I have eaten there a couple of times since.

littl3chocobo 10-27-2012 12:43 AM

it is all franchises that sell chemically altered substances

XD fair enough, but you know what i mean right? the synthetics and the poisonous but if you have no money i am not sure what to say, i am not a fan of slow starvation but i understand the situation
