Watashi wa nihongo ga skoshi wakarimasu, demo mata joge ja arimasen.

I don't know katakana or hiragana at all and I can't even spell the words using English characters, so.... >_>

skoshi would be spelled sukoshi
I know the first line and some of the words in the other one x'D

(And this weekend I'm going to Animeland Wasabi (an anime convention) with Nikko and the rest of the group.)

Watashi wa konshū-matsu kara sukoshi shite kita... Watashi wa hai kara surudoi itami o shutoku shite kita Sore wa shū kūruda, watashi wa takusan no shashin o toru koto ga aru yo kimi to iketara iinoni

Translation:

I've been a little off this weekend... I've been getting sharp pains through my lungs

That is soo cool, I wish I could go with you you'll have to take lots of pictures

Here's a course I found on YouTube
And they take it nice and slow, though you will sometimes have to pause, and it's good to have a note pad beside you :)
Of course it's just the basics though, but I personally think it's a good start
