ooooo those would be cool.
I should look into buying a few good pairs of chopsticks ^^

Quiet Man Cometh 06-21-2012 02:03 AM

I only have a couple fancy pairs. I use wood, but the Asians I lived with in college (2 Korean, 1 Chinese) all had metal ones. I really want the katana chopsticks thhough. I'll harasss my brother when he orders next.

\I have the ones you take apart and travel with you since I use them a bit to eat a bit and I carry my own bento box from time to time.

Reyo got a fancy set of Kafuh chopsticks for her birthday a couple years ago. They look kinda like this.

I had a set like that once, and my mother gave them away to my cousin cause she thought no one was using them, I going to use them when I moved out. /D/ n o

Is Kafuh a brand or are they something particular?

Reyoki 06-21-2012 02:14 AM

ono Would Nikko like mine? I never use them because they're so pretty, so they're still all wrapped up in the box.

Reyoki 06-21-2012 02:14 AM

Yep, Kafuh is the brand name. All their stuff is really pretty.

I use ivory ones at home. owo

Though we also have wood ones as well, which I use sometimes since those ones can go in the dishwater. :3

I also have a separate ivory pair from my paternal grandmother that are inscribed with my Chinese name on the ends. <3
I have yet to use these ones, and don't know if I ever will since they're one of the only things I have from my only remaining living grandmother and wish to cherish them in mint condition. >w<

My Chinese roommate usually used a pair of metal chopsticks when she ate. Though like me, she had a collection of the wood disposable ones from the cafeteria. :p
