the ninth doctor is most like a butch lesbian to me, compounded by the fact that eccleston would like to play more androgynous roles.

That said, 2005 (...I'm old :p-dead:) Doctor Who is very much "Doctor Who the Vampire Slayer" |
I used to make the things with MSPaint. Sometimes we called it MSPain.
|
Same (have tried some pixel art with MSPaint)
|
me, having made art with ms paint with a laptop touchpad
also used to call it ms pain bc it was a pain in the arse. |
The mentioning of glitter gifs unlocked core memories for me LOL
|
Indeed ^^
|
I honestly miss MS Pain(t). Can't really do pixel art too well in GIMP or at least not that I've found.
|
MS Pain is still around, but I have never been able to really figure out the new one. Can barely resize photos with it.
|
|
there's web-based versions of ms paint around that use the winxp version of paint.

We're starting soon for my game! https://twitch.tv/pantslesstables
ETA: We just got done, and we raised $35 during my game, bringing our stretch goal total to $1140 of $1250! We've long surpassed our original goal of $100 raised for Trans Lifeline! |
That looks awesome, Den :p-love:
And glad you could raise the money :f-cheer: (For anyone new to Trisphee, yes we have emotes/smilies :s-fancy:) |
So, final tally is $1500 raised for Trans Lifeline! Our original goal of $100 was blown out of the water in the first few hours, and I am so glad I got to be a part of the event! I'll link the youtube playlist for the charity event once it's released (probably in the next few weeks or so). My game was "A Frayed Knot", using the 2400 series of mini RPGs, by Jason Tocci.

Happy first of July. No, I don't have the wrong day. I'm Canadian.XD
|
first saturday of the month = tornado siren testing. bad enough under normal circumstances, worse when one is dealing with a migraine.

Ugh, sorry you have to deal with that, Den.
Kittybeary: LOL! |
back to work on the first pixie belt. I found a yarn in my stash that looks like it's handspun, or intentionally thick and thin. it has browns and shades of grey and white, so it'll fit in with the rest of the belt.
|
Sounds like some vintage yarn I used to have. Your pig that you got from me is made from that yarn.
As people may be able to tell from what Weird is wearing, I am living in a heatwave in a tiny apartment with no AC. XD |
managed to eke out two pouches from the yarn I mentioned. one rectangular, one technically 'just' a circle that I sewed most of the sides together on to form a horn holder... They both look like they're made of rocks. lol
Had my one-year follow up with my neuro, and everything's looking good, so next time I see him will be next July, provided nothing goes awry between now and then. we'll probably get some of that here in the next few days. |
I return! I was visiting family for a bit and helping out.
Grandmother is having difficulties and depressed with the difficulty of modern technology setups. Also there may be someone trying to steal rent from the elderly (and make them pay double). Father is on a dangerous trip for the...fifth time :p-sweat: (I can't really say more on this topic) And a weasel is eating our chickens...despite spending two days adding barriers. ...but Outer Wilds and Doctor Who were nice <3 Also made some Key Lime Pie. |
Heat wave here has gotten less and therefore bearable. Doing a really busy four day weekend, though. Enjoyed myself at the music festival that's one of the venues, a band was singing oldies well and I was dancing in the tent.
Lawton, that's too bad! *hugs* |
I finished my two pixie belts. And promptly started a third. This one will be a brown base, with lots of green (I have three shades of green I can use up!) leaves and flowers thrown in. I'll probably do a bunch of embroidery on the pouches, too. I also decided to use my big mushroom pouch with this belt, since it fits the vibes better.
|
Can also say the heat is getting better... kinda. :')
|
we're in the middle of a heatwave now.
|
My partner and I went on several hours of walking around parks yesterday...we are exhausted today :p-dead:
(Yes, it was Pokemon Go related) |

...I just had the feeling that Weird is taunting me as she stands there in the river in the shade. |
Weird, I imagine: I'm not taunting you - I just have the sense not to be in the heat!
On my end, No Man's Sky was overhauled - they now have walking buildings! And my partner and I finished the 13th Doctor. Now back to 2nd & 4th. Then onto 10th. |
*wanders in, still slightly damp in places from the pool party she went to earlier today*
|
No soup for you, Den.
Joke. It's cooled off here a little bit. Such a relief. Quote:
Oh cool! But, can you go inside the buildings? |
Quote:
too hot for soup anyway. |
*offers Den cold fruit soup*
|
*offers everyone ice cream*
|
I actually had some of that last night. It was raspberry lime sorbet. It tasted like raspberry lemonade, only with a little more raspberry, maybe because it was done with real fruit.
|
Game 9 of Pantsless Tables' 52 hour charity event is now on YouTube! Tempus Diducit features DM Vish taking the party through an epic adventure for the ages!
This is the game I was in for this event, and I still have the costume piece I wore. :3 |
Nice, Den!
Going to a forest & museum tomorrow with my partner, myself <3 And she made me a turtle <3 |
I've been making these a lot over the past week or so. They take about an hour or so for me right now, but with the right combo of beads, they can be super cute or look a little spooky. :) 3d Beaded Spiders
|
Somebody sent me an invite to a game called Cybura, but it really doesn't look like something that would keep me interested. Besides, I barely have time for the pet games I have.
Speaking of games, I took a look at Honkai Star Rail. It got uninstalled pretty quickly. I think I'm fully confirmed to be a lazy (casual?) gamer, and it was just too much work and not enough interest. |
I'm sorry HSR didn't work out for you. I enjoy it, personally. To the point of working on OCs for it. lol
