I'd still rather like just being strong and able to take a lot of punishment, rather than live a long time.

Also randomness, I've always wanted to tackle someone who was doing a cartwheel...

Aiko 09-13-2010 11:40 AM

I still don't see why...
I mean so what if they want to marry Edward, didn't everyone of you have someone you liked at the age of 13 and thought you could marry because you thought yourself mature enough
I mean I had plenty fictional heroes, of course I knew they were not real, but that didn't stop me from wishing they were...
What people like is not really something for others to criticise

Hahaha. You and I have that in common.

Not really. xD They can talk about it civilized. Others can't. I mean when someone says "Naruto kicks Sasuke's ass" and someone replies "OMG NO YOU DON'T KNO ANYTHIN GO KILL YOURSELF!". That's funny.

Gozed - I'm a nerd, I prefer to be smart and know everything. Smart enough to not get killed or even need to take a beating.

Sephiroth 09-13-2010 11:44 AM

Nah, you're not my type.

Aiko 09-13-2010 11:45 AM

Yuki: Still, everyone has fantasies and fetishes, it's perfectly natural, and it's a general problem that teenage girls wants "badass" guys whether they be real or fiction
It's a way of provocating your parents, which we all know teenagers like to do..

Yuki 09-13-2010 11:45 AM

Sephy likes his spiky blondies. :v

Alexander Linden 09-13-2010 11:46 AM

*blinks* I totally just missed something...

Anonymous 09-13-2010 11:46 AM

Okay. Well I'm off to work now. Later Gators. 8D

Gozed 09-13-2010 11:46 AM

I'd just use the invulnerability or "rapid healing" to do more daredevil stuff, like skydiving without a parasuit. >_> Vampires would have to be cautious of random twigs. :P

Alexander Linden 09-13-2010 11:47 AM

I'm not cautious of random twigs...
Vampires can still take more hits than a normal human... >.<

I dislike Twilight for the actual content of the books, not the fangirls and not the anti-fans.

I have actually read the books, and seen the movies (granted, I saw the movies with the Rifftrax commentary over them, but it still counts). Just like anyone who criticizes anything else - movies, literature, television shows - I'm allowed to state the faults I have with the books and why I, in particular, don't like them.

And the fact of the matter is, I don't like them because they're dangerous. I can only imagine all the little girls getting into abusive relationships and thinking that the abuse is love, because it's "just like Edward and Bella". I'm allowed to have the books, and hate that people like the books, for that reason.
