And that's after all the resting, icing, eccentric exercises, foam rolling, stretching, avoiding over training in what I can do...all strictly twice a day for over 6 months or more since it's more than one thing we're dealing with. Basically everything you can do to break down the scar tissue and align the collagen cells. And one wrong step off a curb can instantly feel like having it injured again.

I know the feeling... I have a Bennett's fracture in my left thumb, and while the bones have healed, the joint isn't aligned correctly. Even after five years I haven't gotten used to it; I still reach out and pick stuff up with my left hand even if my grip strength can't support it. If I overstress it, my hand hurts for days or even weeks even if I baby it.

According to my image search, it seems to be between 5-7 stars...?
But still looks manageable to fit on a nail.

Nvm. Found the 3 star images. XD
Constellations can be confusing. Some sites will have a huge 10 star constellation and others will have that same constellation simplified with half the stars.
XP
I need to take the time to get some accurate constellations. It may jusy be nail art, but damnit, I want accurate constellations!

February is my least favorite month also.
I've got several reasons as to why I don't like it. >:T

I am glad that it's the shortest month of the year, though!

trystan830 02-05-2020 02:32 PM

actually i don't really mind february. i'm not a fan of July and August, because summer. eww.

Kaderin Triste 02-05-2020 02:49 PM

I only hate the cramming of valentine's commercialism down our throats (which I hate about all holidays really), but February as a month in general, I have nothing against.

trystan830 02-05-2020 02:52 PM

i work at a craft store, so i see all the commercialism of ALL the holidays, so much fun. but some of it's cute, so.... ;)

Kaderin Triste 02-05-2020 02:56 PM

Oooohhh...if it's still there, I might buy a little valentine's card box thing we have at JoAnn...for Derpy!
Tbh, I would probably only use it for a cute photo shoot, then never again. But could re-paint it for a funny "send Derpy mail" thing?
Would anyone actually want to send Derpy mail? Is that a dumb idea?

At the very least, I should pick up a little bit of heart fabric for a new skirt for him...

trystan830 02-05-2020 03:23 PM

aw, that would be adorable, actually....

Kaderin Triste 02-05-2020 03:57 PM

Debating it. Just got to Joann and it's still there, but would I really use it that often/would it be worth buying just for a cute photo or two?

trystan830 02-05-2020 04:49 PM

yeah, i have that debate every time i want to buy something at my Michael's...

Valentine's Day has the peculiar distinction of being purely commercialism. It was invented by greeting card companies. Oh, sure, the feast of St. Valentine was a real holiday, but it wasn't about love and it wasn't commonly observed. (And it existed for the purposes of displacing a pre-Christian holiday about running around naked and slapping people with animal skins.) Rather, a greeting card manufacturer found a previously-obscure holiday and decided to make a thing out of it.

Eeee! I hate those months too.
But less so than I hate February.

I hate the "black history month", I feel 'black history' is HISTORY. It's not like black people lived in a separate time than anyone else, you know?
I hate Valentine's Day, it usually feels like a holiday to emphasize how lonely I am...
I hate the weird half winter half spring thing it does... Where one day it snows 3 ft and then it's all melted away by the next afternoon...

Those are the biggest reasons I hate February, I guess?

i understand you on this point - we're all humans, it's all human history.

as for that weird half winter half spring? are you in PA too?? XD

Merskelly Metalien 02-05-2020 11:39 PM

Ever since I had a weird valentines day with my ex boyfriend, the best thing about valentines day for me is watching the LEAST romantic sorts of movies possible, jusr to make everyone super confused and upset. >:]

We went on a valentine's date to the movies. Typical romantic time.
Except we went to watch FURY when it came out. x'D No couples in the theatre but us.

Now I make it a point to watch non-conventional UN-Valentine's day movies. >:} NO romantic comedies, NO romance, NO horror, not one! A violent western, yes! A dark comedy, yes! A war flick, absolutely! <x'D

Oh please, PA Febs are 90% winter and then 10% summer. And this year’s already been weird.

If it were up to me, February wouldn’t exist, and my mom wouldn’t have and annual reminder of my twin’s death date.
