@Poggio: Lol. I wish we had a tax free weekend, stores here pretty much do it whenever they feel like it but never at a specific time...and with the taxes we have, it would be extremely useful O_O

Well its mainly for people who can't buy things they need for there children to go to school like clothing and supplies are tax free well anything that one can use for school. But its still pretty awesome. you guys dont have a staple tax that every one charges?

Uh, as in things that aren't taxed? Well, some basic food (aka not transformed)....and that's all actually ^^; Otherwise the taxes rate depends where you live, in Quebec we're ohhhh so lucky *hyper sarcastic* to have our provincial tax go OVER the canadian's one, aka it applies after the price+canadian taxes...

eeesh it must be expensive to live where you live. How much would the average 20 ounce soda cost. Say a pepsi?

Uh, it depends where you buy it lol.
The prices are similar I guess (a bit more expensive but still), but we have 5% taxes over it from Canada, then 9% taxes over the total price of Quebec's taxes... I don't know how much a pepsi is since I don't drink pepsi xD But Oasis juice can be around 1.50$ (plus taxes)...

I gotta go, dinner then I gotta take a shower before going to my godfather's place ^^;
