what's the presentation on?

my first con was metrocon 2007, i've been cosplaying since JACON 2008 or so, and I just went to Shadocon 2012 which was my tenth major con

cons can be a lot of fun but they can also be a buttload of drama depending on the people you go with, like seriously, the people you room or ride with can make or break your con experience; con drama is never fun and ive dealt with sooo much of it in my time "/

but yeah recently i sew all my cosplays myself, or i buy similar garments and alter them. ive only bought one cosplay and i only wore it once

ive dealt with everything from pleather to body paint so i like to think i know the ins and outs of cosplay but really i still have so much to learn

future cosplays that im planning:
daphne from scooby doo
danny phantom
haruna from kore wa zombie desu ka?
kirito from sword art online
meulin leijon from homestuck
(probs not in that order)

so yeah!

i have to use a set amount of topics and grammar patterns, but we get points for creativity-last semester i did mine as charlie sheen, but i was super disappointed that we didn't get to do our monkey king presentations this year, so i'm doing mine narrating sun wukong XD

toki: yeah i'm not a big fan of the online costumes, i can't deal with all the of the inaccuracies :\

fey: not AS goku, but narrating goku yeah. my teacher thought my IHOP story was hilarious though and demanded that i incorporate it, so its kinda turning out as a mix between traditional goku and a more modern version XD

i agree, i'm a stickler for accuracy; i wouldnt avatar-cosplay a character unless i was sure i could be at least mostly accurate

yeah she kinda wanted me to do the full costume, but i kinda don't have the time to pull together a chinese sun wukong...might wear the wig anyway though XD

Toki I've been very surprised at what you can get mostly accurate on here with the avatar layout. Some things I'd still like to tweak, but it's not too bad

toki: yeah, still kind of bitter that there's a few characters i can't cosplay on here due to them not having some of the items i need to complete them, but for the must part its not too bad

it's like a fantastical amalgam of goku and the one kid from SCV...who's name I'm too tired to go looking for.
