see, weird doesn't correlate to the other two, they on the other hand are a bit similar
But if they call us wierd we are bizaree which could be close to insane. So wierd, insane, and crazy are similar.
meh, I shall be all of the above and enjoy it
And I shall join you in being all three and not caring what the deffinition says.
\o/ yay party in the verbiage
Oo... party. Yeah, I shall join thee in thy party dealing with verbiage.
what the heck is 'verbiage'?
Verbiage is the way something is worded. Offical definition is manner or style of expressing something in words; wording.
oooh~ i've never seen that word written before, was pronouncing it 'ver-bi-ahge'
I think it is pronounced more like ver-bee-ji.
verb-adge is how we pronounce it in hill-billy land^^:
My town borders on hillbilly 'cept in July and I don't think we even use this word in common conversation.
I've always pronounced it Verb-age, though I know it's wrong
*stands by fey* let's be wrong together
*looks at Fey and Chocobo and looks at grammar and pronunciation police. Then walks and stands in the middle of them both* I break the rules and follow them, I be in the middle. *Sits on her island in the middle*
I know I mispronounce things, but since i have to dumb down what I say I don't care. at work I've been officially banned from using words of more than three syllables unless I then define the word.
I often pronounce every single letter in a word. Like with herb I prononce the h and it is the same way with heir. It is because I taught myself mostly how to read so I had no idea I was learning it wrong and no one corrected me until I started high school.
well technically you're not wrong, you're just not pronouncing it 'american' style. We tend to brutalize most words. I know I drive people nuts cause I spell with a bit of a british flair in words like colour, flavour and behaviour. And to this day I want to pronounce garage as the brits do. Helps that my second grade teacher was in fact British and I wasn't living in the US at the time.
same as love only in middle-shcool
I have collected the oddest range of words because of my self taught reading. I'm also probably one of the few people who uses old English in the same sentance as present day slang. I also used to use loo and other common British words in my speach and everyone would stare at me and ask, "What?" I still to this day call soccor 'football' though.
haha, i can do you one better i read fiction as well as fact so i learned shit like skivvies and eugenics totally out of proper context, i still get stopped for calling people peachy hahaha
I call situations peachy not the people themselves. Aren't skivvies pants? I have absolutly no idea about the eugenics though. I also never said the words 'I'm sorry' until middle-school, I had always used the Latin Mea culpa(My fault) instead because I thought it was English.
LOL skivvies are underwear, and I was raised overseas a lot so I tend to use words from other languages. we never said 'please' and 'thank you' in english, just in german, so I got weird looks when I woudl say Danke Schone and Bitte Schone to everyone(and couldn't find the blast umlauts, so they're implied)
Crazy and weird can be the same thing.
Because crazy is not normal...which is why it is called crazy...but weird also means you are abnormal...just to a lesser degree than crazy. |
LOL we've already been over, around and beside that, and I'm still sticking iwth the fact that I can be weird, crazy and insane all at once and not be repeating myself LOL
-swims around the thread- Nu one is home. . . .
GOD NO!
THE GERMAN! NO! NOT THAT SONG! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! |
oO I was going to amend that whole we never really chatted thing
but seems you're in the throes of a breakdown. >< Seriously what this song? |
I've no idea, but apparently it's in german...yay?
The hundreth psalm by mendohlsson....or however you spell that name
DEN DERR HERR IS FREUNDLICH! -twitches- |
O.o
er, okay I'm glad he's friendly, even if the german is a bit...off... |
I can't spell it and I admit it D:
LOL the grammar is what's weird, I sorta figured the spelling was inconsequential. And you actually got it mostly right, just one r in der and ;)
Well....every time I sang it it felt like two LOL
LOL sometimes singers'll draw out the weeeeeirdest sounds
You should've been there when we were trying to sing it.
He wanted us to say fruendlich a certain way. We were doing it wrong and my friend...one time....like made the hocking a loogie sound...we all started laughing. He'd say he'd take that lol |
sadly that's how you gotta say certain german words, it sounds like you're trying to spit out the words.
Well the problem with me doing that....I have a bad reflex and just the sound of hocking a loogie....can make me wanna get sick.
Did I mention I have a bad gag reflex? |
I am so happy, I am so happy~~~!
Why is thee happy?
