Hmmm... Then there is only one viable option left for me. I must work on posting as many posts of extraordinary length as I can as fast as I can to acquire the funds nessicary to buy such an item as the one I want from you.

Serra Britt 05-31-2011 12:13 AM

Cupcake, can't you eat a snack or something until he gets home..? That's what I do when I don't feel like cooking anyways >>

And Luna let's find some silly but expository topic to chat about xD

CupcakeDolly 05-31-2011 12:17 AM

That's usually how buyin' stuff works... xD

Hey, what if I wanna be silly and expository? *pout pout pout*

I think I'm going to have to. I'm acting on the assumption that his mom will send him home with dinner, but sometimes he forgets me and just gets food for himself. ;-;

Lunaryon 05-31-2011 12:20 AM

This is not exactly silly, but definently expository. I was not really watching the second Fantastic Four, when a random thought hit me. Due to the law of Conservation of Mass, which states that mass cannot be created or destroyed, and the same for energy, doesn't that mean that the Big bang could not have happened, because there is no way that much mass and energy could exist within a space that is infinitly small. And the rapid expansion I could only see happening with the addition of some kind of energy from the outside, further braking the rules of Physics. Do the people who think up these theories look back and think about trying to fit them within the concepts of Physics that we take as solid proof? I mean it's nearly as bad as the guys who created Scientology, or the Rapture... I mean there are so many holes in their theories that I'm honestly amazed that people fall for them.
EDIT: I changed what I am buying from the other store. Since they are not on, it will be easier just to buy from you now and work on getting money, so go ahead and send Trade. I will gladly buy for 4k.

Serra Britt 05-31-2011 12:23 AM

Aww Cupcake, how could he forget about you ><

Well Luna I'd say that lots of people want to believe something without it being fully explained because, well, I guess they want to think that the holes in the theory will be filled in as time goes on? I really can't explain it better than that. I'm just sure there's some silly theory that I like but isn't practical, just none that come to mind at the moment.

Lunaryon 05-31-2011 12:25 AM

Yeah. I'm just glad to get that off my chest, it's been bugging me for a short time now, and I hate seeing obvious things that people ignore.
@Cupcake: As I just edited in, I am willing to make the trade now, and get money for the other thing over time, so send me the trade please.

CupcakeDolly 05-31-2011 12:25 AM

Well, the Big Bang theory is a theory, which, by definition, is not proven fact. The law of conservation is pretty scientifically solid, which is why it's now a law. There are people who disprove the big bang as easily as others point and laugh at creationism or scientology. But your idea is an interesting one...
Shit, now I have to go do 'net research. Damn you, insatiable curiosity! *shakes fist*

Serra Britt 05-31-2011 12:27 AM

But that's the intelligent thing popping up Cupcake :3 Insatiable curiosity is just a symptom of that :P

Lunaryon 05-31-2011 12:27 AM

About which part? Maybe I could go ahead and 'enlighten' you. My mom is getting her PhD is a science... So I know some stuff.

CupcakeDolly 05-31-2011 12:36 AM

From Wikipedia: "According to the Big Bang model, the universe was originally in an extremely hot and dense state that expanded rapidly. This expansion caused the universe to cool and resulted in the present diluted state that continues to expand today."

So according to this, all the mass was there, it was just hot and smooshed together.

Lunaryon 05-31-2011 12:39 AM

I don't know... I mean I just find it hard to believe that if it had all that mass right there, it's gravity wouldn't hold it together. and it can't just start out as a hot thing. If it spontaniously appeared, that would be a sudden gain of energy. Still breaking one of the laws of Physics.

CupcakeDolly 05-31-2011 12:43 AM

Personally, it hurts my brain too much to think of the origins of the universe. Do you ever get that feeling that something is keeping you from finding something out? I always get this strange sensation whenever I think about things like that - like something, or somebody, is trying to distract me from figuring out something that I'm not supposed to know.

...Or maybe I'm just paranoid.

Lunaryon 05-31-2011 12:47 AM

Hmmm... I wouldn't know. I'm always so distracted, that I think I may have fractured my mind. At the moment, I'm typing, drinking. Listening in on my step-dad talking with his friends, having a second part of my brain spell-checking, thinking about a few questions I have for Tai next time she's on, trying to figure out why the Bing-bang theory doesn't fit with the laws of Physics, and thinking about weather or not to stop by the Forum games.

Serra Britt 05-31-2011 12:50 AM

Luna, go stop by the Boy vs. Girl game xD

I'm over multi-tasking right now, chatting here and other threads, playing facebook games, and listening to my roommate play Majora's Mask... really I probably should have gone to bed an hour a go I just don't want to xD

Lunaryon 05-31-2011 12:55 AM

<3 I love Majora's mask, and really any of the legend of zelda. <3 I currently have Saria's song stuck in my head, and I can't help but hum it. I'm going to avoid the Boys v Girls game, Nearly every time I've played the girl's have lost. I'm also trying to chat on as many threads as possible, but there;s like no one on at the moment.

CupcakeDolly 05-31-2011 12:57 AM

Wish I could multi-task. All I've got going on is foruming, drinking cherry Coke, and downloading My Little Pony - and that does its thing all on its own. xD I probably should do something else though, while I've got the house all to myself.

*clings to Serra* You no go. T_T
