Duce 07-18-2011 05:23 AM

Just played forever long on Alice: The Madness Returns

And it's awesome. DX

Maddening amounts of killing tends to bore and wear me out. This is nicely balanced with puzzles and hidden items to hunt for in practically every room. Making it a triple fun thing.

Kalei 07-18-2011 06:11 AM

Is it just me or does your avi have a white background?

Duce 07-18-2011 06:27 AM

It's not just you- my Avi does indeed have a white background.

Kalei 07-18-2011 06:32 AM

Is it suposed to? O.o

gremlin 07-18-2011 11:42 AM

Hey everyone.

<3

What's up?

Lucifer 07-18-2011 11:49 AM

Not much~ just woke up, and it is unbearab;y hot in here xD But I sorta like it. :P

gremlin 07-18-2011 11:52 AM

Awh.
It's cool in my house, but it is hot and humid outside.

Lucifer 07-18-2011 11:58 AM

I almost never turn the AC on... aaand it just got super dark, according to weather.com I am gonna get thunderstorms :3
*ETA*
Soon after I posted that it started to POUR down raining like it went from nothing to pouring down rain, and strong winds and just STORM in like.. under 30 seconds O.O

Yokuutsu 07-18-2011 12:12 PM

D:
I hate when that happens. I live in Tennessee and our weather is friggin bipolar >w<

gremlin 07-18-2011 12:16 PM

My parents always have the AC on.

. w.

Yokuutsu 07-18-2011 12:20 PM

AC is <3

It's on right now but doesn't always cool to the point we have it set to though T_T

gremlin 07-18-2011 12:23 PM

Awh.

;___;

Maybe buy a second hand one that works better?

Lucifer 07-18-2011 12:26 PM

As my mom's BF puts it.. (I rent a room here and such) If i want to turn the AC on when I am alone I can, but if the bill shoots up I'll have to pay extra for electricity. Soo I never use it ^^

gremlin 07-18-2011 12:28 PM

Gah, that really sucks.

Yokuutsu 07-18-2011 12:28 PM

Ours is one of those central systems. And we know what to do to help the problem, but mother refuses to do any of it.

@Lucifer
You live with your mother...and her BOYFRIEND is telling you that you can't use the AC unless you chock up some more money? Air conditioning should be included in the rent since you're renting a room and not the entire house .-. I wouldn't let my boyfriend say that to my child. It's hot. It's been 137 all day once.

Aiko 07-18-2011 12:30 PM

Helloes Jibber-Jabber, how are you?

gremlin 07-18-2011 12:32 PM

I'm going to get off to read.

Yokuutsu 07-18-2011 12:36 PM

I'm just sitting here bored....wishing I could find an rp D:

gremlin 07-18-2011 12:36 PM

Awh. D:
Perhaps post a thread searching for a RP partner?

Aiko 07-18-2011 12:37 PM

Yokuutsu:
Aww
I had an rp, but now my rp partner went offline D:
I think I might take a break from my laptop, and lie down, hoping it will lessen my headache somehow

gremlin 07-18-2011 12:38 PM

If you have a headache then you should get off, staring at the computer screen only makes it worse.

Yokuutsu 07-18-2011 12:42 PM

@Neirra
I went there lol and...I found like one or two, but they haven't said anything back .-.

@Aiko
I have no rps now. And headaches suck -somehow gives you excedrin through the internet-

Lucifer 07-18-2011 12:51 PM

Well if I use up more resources than I SHOULD have to pay more, and it's a mutual thing, he pays most of the stuff for the apartment, and as it is O only have to pay $200 a paycheck towards rent, and an extra $20/mo for a cellphone on his plan.

Yokuutsu 07-18-2011 12:54 PM

If you make more than one paycheck a month, I think you get air.

I don't know where ya'll live, but our electricity bill (with the air running) is never above 200. So I'm assuming you make at least two paychecks a month. That's four hundred dollars a month. You could get a three bedroom here for that price-your own place. And other places are cheaper than that. So by my standard, you should get air. But then again, considering where I live, not having air should be considered negligence or something if you have any kids.

Rosekitten 07-18-2011 01:40 PM

Yokuutsu 07-18-2011 01:42 PM

I'm here......kind of?

Rosekitten 07-18-2011 01:47 PM

Yokuutsu 07-18-2011 01:51 PM

Well, I check when it says another person has posted here....and I've noticed it lol

It's not horribly hot here, mid 80s or 90s at the most in summer, and this place is a 2 bedroom apartment, and is $1275 a month for just the rent (but water(even hot because of how the building's system is set up) is included.
I pay $400 towards rent, and they pay the rest. I get two paychecks a month, and I make $8.50/hr. The new England area is expensive to live, and I happen to be in a tourist town less than 5 miles or so fro mthe beach (and that's travelling to the 'better' beach)

Yokuutsu 07-18-2011 02:14 PM

I'm glad I don't live there. I wouldn't pay over 600 a month for a two bedroom....even if I could afford it. Unless it comes with appliances....and good ones....then I might pay more.

I would move if I was you. I doubt a one bedroom is much cheaper...so if you ever wanted to move out....you'd be screwed.

And you're lucky....but I've had heatstroke before so when it gets too much over 75 outside....it is miserable to me .-.

Lucifer 07-18-2011 02:16 PM

Actually even in a town 40 min from here I used to live in we were in the crappiest apartments (mym om and I only) and the cheapest place we could find was $500/mo. Here a 1 bedroom is $700/mo or more

Yokuutsu 07-18-2011 02:18 PM

Then they are screwing you all.

You can get a three bedroom HOUSE for 400 a month down here. Now...it isn't the best ever or anything (none of the houses down here are) but it's cheap compared to what ya'll are paying.

You've now convinced me that I'm stuck here forever. Which depresses me. Because I am never paying that much for a "good" place. Now if it was like 4 bedrooms...that 1k+ price would be acceptable...since I've seen no apartment with 4 bedrooms around here.

Rosekitten 07-18-2011 02:22 PM

Lucifer 07-18-2011 02:23 PM

Not all places are like this.
I mean even Portland Oregon's housing stuff on craigslist has like 3 bedroom thigns for just around $1k Vs the for New Hampshire state one's housing, which I see a 1 bedroom for over $800, or a 2 bedroom for $800-1k ro more depending on the area.
