Awwwh!! D: Byebye Nei~ ;~;

Nefer 07-15-2011 03:25 PM

Lalalala...
I'm back! To bring chaos to... urg...I'm too hyper right now, sorry ^^;

Jeanie 07-15-2011 03:27 PM

I'm really tired. We had the Toddle Waddle at work today.

Nefer 07-15-2011 03:37 PM

Toddle Waddle? What is that?

Jeanie 07-15-2011 03:47 PM

Charity thing, for Barnardos, all the parents paid £2 and we attempted to get the kids to do some little mini assault course. Some of them had a good go. Some of them kept running off and didn't want to wait their turn or tried to have extra turns. The all got a little medal for taking part. It was exhausting and oh so hot but the kids loved it.

Nefer 07-15-2011 03:56 PM

@Jeanie: Ah ok I see...as long as you didn't get any sunburns...^^;

gremlin 07-15-2011 03:57 PM

I'm back, but only for a little bit.

- rolls around in thread -

Nefer 07-15-2011 04:12 PM

Greetings Neirra!
Feeling good today?

Jeanie 07-15-2011 04:24 PM

I don't think I did, which is probably some kind of miracle since the only part of me with sun cream on was my hands from puttin in on the babies.

Nefer 07-15-2011 04:26 PM

@Jeanie: Lucky! O.O I burn far too quickly nowadays, even when I have sunscreen on ^^;;;

Jeanie 07-15-2011 04:32 PM

I used to as well. I don't know whats changed. One time I fell asleep on the beach and my mum just sat and watched me burn. She didn't even have the niceness to flip me!

I hate when work gets the sun cream I'm allergic to because no bugger else bothers puttin it on the sprogs so I have to end up with burny hands to stop them getting burnt.

Nefer 07-15-2011 04:41 PM

@Jeanie: Oh gosh, what the... She could have put something on you at least!

And youch...they still buy it even if you're alergic to it?

Jeanie 07-15-2011 04:45 PM

Yup I've told them a few times I'm allergic. I know they only get it because it's the cheapest one. Some of the parents have brought their own in now so it's not as bad. Instead of 16 kids worth of burny it's only 2 or 3.

I know I said that to her and she said it was my own fault so I told her to see if I shade her up next time she starts snorin on the beach. XD

Nefer 07-15-2011 04:47 PM

@Jeanie: Oh, that's kinda good then...

And lol, I think I'd do the same thing as you xD

Jeanie 07-15-2011 04:51 PM

I've just put some shorts on and good lord my legs are bruised.

Nefer 07-15-2011 04:53 PM

@Jeanie: Lol, too much kneeling perhaps? Or falling...or both ^^;

Jeanie 07-15-2011 04:55 PM

I think the kids are doin it to me. They're always divin all over me like I'm some kind of human bouncy castle.

Which we're having one of for our party next week. I hope they get a big one so I can have a go. XD

Nefer 07-15-2011 05:04 PM

@Jeanie: Lol, oh boy!

And lol, the bigger ones are ok for adults? That's nice ^^

Jeanie 07-15-2011 05:06 PM

As far as I'm concerned if I can fit in it I can go on it. XD I'm the size of a 12 year old anyway, at least height wise.

Nefer 07-15-2011 05:12 PM

@Jeanie: Lol! You're going to have fun with the kids, that's nice xD

Jeanie 07-15-2011 05:42 PM

I will be havin much fun. We're having party food, bouncy castle and lots of messy play and water play. I have to draw the decorations at dinner during the week.

Nefer 07-15-2011 05:43 PM

@Jeanie: Ohhhh, cool! Water games are always great to have when it's sunny and warm outside ^^

Jeanie 07-15-2011 05:46 PM

We got them a little paddling pool. They get stripped to their nappies and smothered in sun cream and put in the pool. They splash each other and I throw a few rubber duckies in for them. XD

Nefer 07-15-2011 05:47 PM

@Jeanie: xD Sounds like a nice job!

Jeanie 07-15-2011 05:51 PM

I can honestly say I love my job the majority of the time and when I don't it's always the staff never the kids that ruined the day/week. I look like a scruff on the way home though. I'm always covered in something, food, snot, drool, the occasional sick.

Nefer 07-15-2011 05:53 PM

@Jeanie: Lol, well who cares, you love your job, that's what's important! Plus you get to move, go outside, etc, that's more than great!

And ya, the staff...I think it's the same with every job on that point ^^;;;

Jeanie 07-15-2011 05:59 PM

Some of the kids have issues, there's one who likes me during the day but when I'm on earlies she hates me. She just screams until another staff member comes in. It's horrible. I dread those days the harder I try the worse she gets.

Nefer 07-15-2011 06:00 PM

@Jeanie: O_O Whoa... the kid is bipolar perhaps?

Jeanie 07-15-2011 06:27 PM

She has people issues. She attaches to one staff member for the day and gets hysterical when they leave the room.

Nefer 07-15-2011 06:44 PM

@Jeanie: Oh ok, I see... Oh gosh O_O

Jeanie 07-15-2011 06:47 PM

She's moving over to the big room soon though. She might get better then because she won't be one of the oldest ones.

Nefer 07-15-2011 06:49 PM

@Jeanie: Oh, so it's like here, the groups are seperated by age...

Jeanie 07-15-2011 06:52 PM

Yeah, I'm, usually, in 0-2s then there's 2-3s and 3-5s but the 2-3s and 4-5s share one room and just split up for circle times. It's sweet cause my team leader's kid moved over last week and she was really freaked out by not being with her mum any more and kept trying to come back in our room and one of he 3-5s took her hand and showed her round and explained things and now she's totally happy.

Nefer 07-15-2011 06:54 PM

@Jeanie: Awww, cute! But wow, that's young, here I think it's something like 6-8 and 8-12 then 12+...

Jeanie 07-15-2011 06:57 PM

Oh yeah I'm in pre-school nursery. Some of the 3-5s go to the school as well.

Nefer 07-15-2011 06:58 PM

@Jeanie: Ohhh, ok, I see! I thought it was a summer job lol.

Jeanie 07-15-2011 07:17 PM

Ooh well it could be I think I'm only maternity cover at the moment. I usually do more but I'm only down as at least 20 hours a week so if they don't need me I get a day or afternoon off.

Nefer 07-15-2011 07:19 PM

@Jeanie: Oh ok, bah as long as you're ok to pay everything with the money you get, it's ok ^^

Jeanie 07-15-2011 07:26 PM

The joy of living with my parents who, despite several offers, refuse to take rent off me. All I have to pay for is my phone, my car and my spotify subscription. Half what I get on the slow months does me. XD
