My dog ate an entire chicken today, the sick one. My mom split it up and made it smaller chunks, she ate half then I took it out of the fridge and she ate the rest. She also ate a bunch of treats and ate even more chicken. She has not vomited either! At least she isn't starving anymore. |
@Neirra: Oh wow, really? And they didn't give her anything for her troat either? Wow, that's great! ^^

She didn't eat it quickly, but she ate it all and we didn't force her to or anything. She sniffed it and ate it from my hand. I was really happy. :) |

I don't know. I talked to my mom and she said she's prepared to put her down if the tumours are too much. She has nine apparently. We still haven't heard back from the third vet to see if it's cancer. Edit: And she has some in her lungs so... not much we can do. |

I cried a lot and got it all out. I will still cry if she ends up being put down. But at least she ate and she peed a lot today which she hasn't done and yeah... she got up a lot today and wagged her tail. I'm happy that she isn't starving anymore. It's really random. She refused so many other things, my mom randomly buys chicken and she eats it all. |
@Neirra: That's weird indeed...she may have been starving enough to try eating again, and ended up not having so much pain anymore so she continued eating...

Yeah, I mean... she ate it very slowly and when I fed her I make it in to small pieces. It was also cold from the fridge so it probably felt good when she ate it. |
I cut up her treats, too and she ate them slowly. I gave her her favourite ones, too. I bet that made her happy. :) |
