Well, Ed was home at the time, and I think someone else had stopped by to visit... or maybe they went out to grab something to eat and just forgot to call back.

aw - that happens to me all the time with my man. He likes to fall asleep!

I used to live in Florida - way to hot for me.

So, I'm in the car today, waiting for my mom so we can drive out to the farm and I look down in my lap where I have my stuff. I see my day planner, which has a cavalier king charles spaniel on it. They keychain on my purse also has a cavalier on it. On the car dashboard I have my cavalier travel mug, and next to me beside the seat is my cavalier notebook. I so did not think I was that kind of person. My moment of realization today.

Though to be fair, I only bought the cavalier dayplanner and mug. The rest were gifts! Including the two decks of cavalier playing cards, the cavalier welcome sign, wrapping paper, magazine, t-shirt, and statuette..two statuettes.

I suppose I did buy the two books and the beanie baby...

Oh, it's hardly much of a collection but it's there. ;). I don't plan on turning my decorating scheme into breed related art and functionalities. I know some friends whose houses are shrines to their breed of choice, right down to the light switches and oven mitts. If you've ever seen the movie Best in Show, they would be like the Norwich couple. In dog show circles, breed stuff always starts to become the default gift for people too, so the collections expand. I was given a print of a particular painting of a cavalier, because the woman who won it as part of her show prize already had one. :).

I kind of wish I had another cavie to show, but I can't afford it and it's handy not to have to look after a dog right now.

I love Best in Show - that was such a funny movie.
