from what I hear it's largely either women, or guys who like to get attention. Cause, after all, that's sorta what ends up happening. And I get that, I'm totally NOT in yaoi, but part of me would want to go just because I'd be able to avoid the annoying 13yo population that seems to invade most of the local cons

There's a bishie auction every year. Cosplayers and/or voice actors auction themselves off, the money going to the chosen charity each year. Soem of the auctionee's are...uhm...creative in what they do to get more money

I've sorta met a couple of auctionees...I restrained myself from asking what the heck they were thinking...

I may or may not have run into a very obvious concrete retaining thing the first time I came across a herd...uhm...batillion? what would the correct grouping name for them be? but anyway, all fit and apparently fond of their baby oil. I was...not graceful to say the least.
