Im not lurking im just taking in what you were saying is all ^ ^ your not rude you are just saying how you feel. And in much respect i have for your opinion please respect mine. I am no heathen i draw myself. but some people can not. also there are people who are poor with writing as well. I still think if you give credit its not stealing. As an artist myself i disagree with you about people giving credit but that is just me. i still do think its rather stupid to use a rule like that. like i said thats my own thoughts not yours we are diffrent and see diffrent things diffrently. I havent called you names ok but you sit here and call me a heathen saying i demanded pics. Did i demand your? Im a heathen cuz i see things diffrently. But thats people for you everyone is diffrent. Also i do not think i demanded anything.

My opinion: I don't mind as much if people use my art if they give links back to the original work.
Although... I am EXTREMELY inflexible about my OCs. I hate it if anyone tries to make their images fit another personality. But I can slightly tolerate it if there are links to credit the original... if I'm in a good mood. That's just me though. I don't hesitate to get people banned if they just take my shit though, lol |
i said heathen because a curse-word s what i usually have for people who do what you did and this is a lot bigger than personal opinions, this is something there have been laws made on and the law in most countries state you cannot steal from the legal owners anything that is protected under copyright, screencaps and scans fall under this and that is why you cannot use them without issue. you are stealing and if you don't believe me and if you think it is ok go look at the legal disclaimers on the movies and comics and such and read them. they say right there you /cannot/ use their works without permission(usually written)
what you are asting for is simply not ok and is a rule violation not only on this site but in the country of any place you steal from if you'd like i can give you a million links since copyright and arttheft are something i know a /lot/ about |

I'm not sure I've had anyone try to steal my OCs before... If I have, I certainly haven't caught it.
I like the style you've got going on, Saru. Don't think it'll be all that flexible for any real facial structure though. God, I love good scribbly art... |

Im not familiar with art terms unfortunately i just draw XD what do you mean by scribbly or line? As in Sketching wise? i tend to scribble more i guess i dont like using straight solid lines it takes the life away in my opinion but thats just me
