I had no idea it was a book...

Sephiroth 09-08-2010 09:57 PM

Gozed, why-for are you invisible?

Gozed 09-08-2010 10:01 PM

I dunno, I changed my avi last night, it did this. I cleared my cache and remade my avi from scratch to try to fix it, but nothing happened.

I Robot is a book. A much weirder book and does not have that kind of plotline- in fact I don't know if it has a plot-line. It's a bunch of short stories about robots. very surreal.
The series though that he did.. .what was that called *looks it up* I think it was the Foundation series but I'm not positive. Anyways, that was an amazing series.

Sephiroth 09-08-2010 10:05 PM

You must be special. :3

Jurinjo 09-08-2010 10:23 PM

wow this is a lot of pages and OMG Sephiroth! That's so amazing! xD

EDIT: yes I can confirm Issac Ansimov did the Foundation Series. I love sci-fi books, but sadly I have not read that one yet.

Sephiroth 09-08-2010 10:27 PM

*laughs* You should see me in my actual Sephiroth outfit Jur. Check my DA in my signature.

Kyp 09-08-2010 10:28 PM

My love of androids came from reading his series and the possibility of a conscience in machines.
The anime called Time of Eve is based on Asmov's 3 laws of robotics and is also vastly interesting... although very slow

Jurinjo 09-08-2010 10:38 PM

@Kyp: I thought those 3 laws plus that narration of of the "ghost in machines" in iRobot were fascinating. One I like to do to pass time is visualizing scenarios and possibilities by changing variables in under certain conditions. The human mind is also something that piques my interests. So that's why the ghost in machines narration caught me. The rest of the movie was mainly just action and tension but that's what is also good about i lol. A bunch of robots and humans fighting. I loved that scene....not morbid at all I hope haha.

Speaking of sci-fi stories have you read the Falcon Banner Series?

@Sephiroth: wow not bad! I'm very impressed by the wing. I only wish it was possible to get cloth of any kind to bend like they do in those movies don't you? This is hands down though the best sephy cosplay i've seen so far.

Sephiroth 09-08-2010 10:45 PM

Thanks Jur. ^^ I worked hard on the wing and Masamune.

Jurinjo 09-08-2010 10:47 PM

The work put into the wing definitely paid off, I've seen much worse done with the wings. I can't remember the sword off the top of my head and I got enough tabs open as it is. (as you can tell i was too focused on just one thing there lol)

So you like to cosplay eh?

Demonskid 09-08-2010 10:49 PM

*lurks* =w=

Kyp 09-08-2010 10:51 PM

That IS an impressive costume!
I was planning on making a pair of full sized white wings for next years con... but feathers aren't cheap ;_;

Sephiroth 09-08-2010 10:55 PM

Love to cosplay.

Jurinjo 09-08-2010 10:55 PM

DK, Kyp...I've seen you're art. ;)

@Kyp: I said too much in my other post too you didn't I? I'm bad at rambling...or rather i'm good at it ^^;

@Demonskid: Hey ^_^
-pulls out of the shadows-
How are you doing?

Sephiroth 09-08-2010 10:57 PM

Go to rainbowfeathers.com for feathers. They're awesome.
