I have many, many bacon related things from friends...though I'll warn people right now. the bacon flavoured popcorn? sounds great, smells vile and tastes bland, don't bother. Still haven't worked up teh courage to eat my bacon lollipop for fear of the gross

I work every weekend, sadly, unless I request it off for conventions. I'm soooo spoiled in that my coworkers totally love that I go to cons so they never really argue when I ask for 'em

Ah, that's cool. :) I have one of those jobs where I sit in a grey fabric box and bash on a keyboard all day, on weekdays only. Unfortunately, I get precious little vacation time, and it's not the type of job I can swap shifts with people.

...Still. I can maneuver things around enough to do stuff like randomly go to Atlanta one weekend, now and again.

Toho, my sister used to have a job like that. She worked for Universal Studios in reservations I think.

I think my job is probably more flexible than a reservationist... Though I'm sure she could swap shifts with people.

I'm a programmer, so...my job is the same, no matter when I work.

for me as long as I plan ahead by 2 weeks and put the requested times on the calendar i'm good for it

Well, yeah, that's how it works for me, but I use vacation time for that--which I currently have none of.

I don't get vacation yet

I love my job. I accrue vacation time based on how many other hours I work, so if I work lots I get lots of time off. Which means I have all sorts of reasons to work my butt off when they let me.

My job is mostly just exploitive with hours. But hey, that's what happens with a salaried job. :)

I really can't complain about it. It's quite good.

I've got two comming up in the next month. Dragoncon in Atlanta and NDK in Denver. Then one more in October(MileHi Con) and then my winter 'break' before the next round.

it's an adult only con, I have friends that have been on staff in the past(though apparently this year all the staff is new), so I've heard a lot of things.

you should totaly see the the OVAs they're aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamazing >.>.....................if you want I can PM you a place you can watch 'em online...........
