The counseling center at UBC has a ton of puppies to cheer people up. It's hilarious.

>> i want to be funky's ......'friend' too

*pokes the bear*
Why not mention VII
Wicked wanna know!
I never really played it.

I fell in love with VIII
and none of the other ones do it for me.
Seems 8 is the one most folks hate.
But I luff it.

Also, why have I not stopped by here yet?
Is Choco's HOME and I'm quite fond of Choco.

littl3chocobo 09-20-2011 07:16 AM

>w> because choco is half-obsessed and has played it so many times......eeee~<3

*sweeps arm* welcome to mai thread<3

Wicked 09-20-2011 07:19 AM

Ah-ha! See "rabid" makes me think you had issues with it.
Other kind of issues.

I should probably give it another chance.
I wonder if we even have it? oO

My house is insane. Stuff scattered everywhere.
I keep telling myself I'm going to pack up - pretend to move
and unpack everything into it's proper place.
That never happens.

littl3chocobo 09-20-2011 07:21 AM

do, it's ugly as shit but i do so like it, and if you pay attention to the storyline about a third in onward it gets good and mucky

Wicked 09-20-2011 07:23 AM

Ugly as in graphics? No sweat.
I'm in love with Legend of Mana
and that game plays like an old S/NES side scrolling adventure.

littl3chocobo 09-20-2011 07:25 AM

hehe

what's the plot?

Wicked 09-20-2011 07:29 AM

Oh goodness it's a 30 hour minimum gameplay game.
It's kind of a discombobulated storyline - the coolest thing about the game is that where you go and what you choose to do next reshapes the order of the story. You can play through and beat it and replay and learn entirely new things.

And you can craft your own weapons, and breed pets and make musical magic items and holy crap I want to play it again! *spazzes*

littl3chocobo 09-20-2011 07:31 AM

sounds terrible, i enjoy playing /everything/ your game seems like the sort of thing to kill me seeing as i broke the timer on a liniar game with only a handful of distractions to it hahaha

Wicked 09-20-2011 07:34 AM

It's weird I'm not typically an abstract non-linear type.
At least I don't think so? Hmm. Wait. This is interesting.
Now that I think about it the games I love most are rather "open" and huh.

I'm not who I thought I was.

*identity crisis*

Oh well.

littl3chocobo 09-20-2011 07:37 AM

i'm more the liniar dungen/platform type haha

Wicked 09-20-2011 07:42 AM

You can play Legend of Mana and see it all. That'll clock about 80 hours give or take. Unless you fart around leveling up and making stuff then we might be looking at breaking the clock.

Gotta follow the guide book to or whatcha call it? The books that you can buy to "master your game" or somesuch. Anyway if you do everything in that order the story makes a lot of sense and you've seen it all.

But it all goes boom if you take "a left turn in Albequerque"
(butchered that spelling most likely)

littl3chocobo 09-20-2011 07:44 AM

i broke a 30-40 hour game two years ago >> was still playing that file when my cds died, it was my second one

Wicked 09-20-2011 07:46 AM

Same with me and Legend of Mana this is my second copy.
We play too much or too hard. ><
