I'm back! That was a good convention. I'm still healing though.

I have returned from my convention as well. I recovered most of my strength earlier today, though.

What was your con?! Mine was Anime Central. <3

Mine was PariahCon. I was a volunteer. Two of the three 4-hour shifts were in the wee hours of the morning, so I had nothing to do... like, the directors told me to go home.

On Friday I checked badges for the Dealer's Room, and that was the busiest shift I had... which wasn't saying much since I was stationed at the back door.

Saturday I was stationed at the Scary Movie room... for about an hour. Then they decided to close up the room after the current movie had ended. There was this one guy who had fallen asleep in one of the hotel chairs. It took us about ten minutes to wake him up.

Then on Sunday when I went in the directors just kind of looked at me and said, "There's nothing going on right now. Go get some sleep and meet us back here at 6:45 for the Sunday Morning Cartoons." I went out to my truck and read the Black Butler manga I'd brought for such an occasion. At 6:30 I set out in search of food... but the Taco Bell drive-thru wasn't open yet. I went back to the convention hotel and checked in again. There was still nothing for me to do, so I watched Shanghai Knights with the directors until my shift was over.

I didn't get to go to any panels I'd wanted to attend, sadly, but I did get a manga and some cool stuff from the Dealer's Room.

I got three little statues - all from Puella Magi Madoka Magika. I also worked the con and I had a panel. It was stressful - but worth it! My boyfriend caught the con plague though. lolz.

XD Which plague? The hungover one or the icky-sicky one?

I've never been to a really decent sized con. Hoping to go to one next year.

It's kinda a mixture of both. ;)
