I wish you lots of luck with that Quiet ^^

Robins are pretty ouo
|
They always seem a little mundane to be but I suppose that's because I'm used the things. Makes nice calls though. I like Stellars Jays and the mottled birds like some thrushes and grosbeaks. (My older sister is a bird nut. I absorbed all I know about them from her).

I love cardinals and chicadees ouo
|
Chickadees we have. Cardinals, we do not. :(
I like the steller's Jays because it looks like someone smacked their head in between their hands so they have a somewhat flat looking face with a mowhawk. They little blue spots above their eyes are pretty cute too. I think that downy wookpeckers are cute too. We have some of them around here. |
never heard of Stellers Jays but i like blue jays ono
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...istata-004.jpg but they are mean 3< |
Blue jays are mean. I think it's a kay thing in general. Crows I think are from the jay family, and maybe things like magpies. Not sure though. We have blue jays out east.
Steller's Jay |

Oh, by the way, HI, EVERYONE!! I'm BAAAAACK! ~Kat waves frantically to everyone~ I see the topic is birdies... I saw a full grown roadrunner last Thursday on the way home from the vet. It didn't even bother to *meep meep* at us.... it just ran across the highway, right in front of us. Those things are TALL! OH! And I saw a red robin a few weeks ago. I think that's the first time I've ever seen one in real life >.< I don't know much about birdies *gerk* So, did I miss anything huge, like a birthday or something, whilst I was gone? |
Asami had a bday on sunday oxo
roadrunners are REAL? D: |
Aww, I missed Asami-Chan's birthday? :/ I must find a prezzie for her!
And, yup, roadrunners are real. I live in Arizona- we have odd wildlife ^_^ Across the street from my house is a huge, empty field. Deer hang out there often. The one thing around here that is the total suckage are the free-range cows. They walk right in to your yard and eat any pretty foliage you have. And they leave cow-patties behind as a "gift". *grr* We do have gates to close off the front yard- but sing we don't know exactly when the cows will come, we don't get the gates closed until after at least one attack. |
