XD I love Asian boys but... at the same time, I worry I may not... mmm... quite fit? Y'know? ._. most are so tiny and skinny, and I like them just a little built (though not BUFF necessarily) and not many are it seems. XD And I am /not/ a small girl. I'm not FAT i don't think (though I feel it sometimes) but I am definitely not small. Even if I lost all the fat on my body, I would not be small. Which brings me to another concern: clothing shopping. ._.'

But regardless, at the very least I want to use my Japanese and be able to visit if not live there.

and I'm gonna transfer to UNLV so I dunno. I'll check when I have to go through all the transfers and such.

Remember how I said I felt like recopying my notes for some reason? Well I did end up starting it. XD I'm about halfway done. Maybe more.

Ashurato 05-11-2011 03:08 PM

I love recopying my notes, especially if the first draft is a mess worthy of a 3-year old.

Azrael 05-11-2011 03:09 PM

I love recopying some notes to make it look better, but most of the time my notes are already fairly organized XD

Ginger 05-11-2011 03:41 PM

This looks like a really good idea. I wish I had Skype and the time to learn Japanese on here. Lately I've been stacked with school work and an art project, which just got completely finished yesterday.

Sushi 05-11-2011 04:59 PM

I don't have a webcam.. D:
Curse. lol

Azrael 05-11-2011 09:14 PM

Rawr, Japanese was good. Not so much for the class, but a girl I talk to said she's going to study in Japan next semester. And I was rather surprised, so I asked her to give me a list of schools and some tips and stuff of the sort. >3<' So now I'm all excited.

Ashurato 05-11-2011 09:33 PM

No webcam is fine, just a mic would be enough.
I don't use the camera function anyway.

I don't have a webcam either. xD

Az - O3O thanks... *was playing My Japanese Coach earlier*

Azrael 05-12-2011 12:43 AM

o.o? thanks?

Azrael 05-12-2011 02:27 AM

LOOK HOW PRETTY MY HANDWRITING IS.

Plus there's some notes for ya'll. XD

Espy 05-12-2011 04:31 AM

...-envies the neat handwriting-

Mine's is just...blaaaaargh.

Azrael 05-12-2011 03:07 PM

XD Usually mine is, which was why I was so excited. <3

Blaine 05-12-2011 03:08 PM

LOl, mine is atrocious, but I love it anyway~

Ashurato 05-12-2011 03:10 PM

People tell me I write like a typewriter on capslock.
I don't know whether to be pleased or a little insulted.

Blaine 05-12-2011 03:17 PM

Go the easy route. Be flattered~

Ashurato 05-12-2011 03:18 PM

You're right. I'm too lazy to get irritated at anyone.

Especially since it's true.

Blaine 05-12-2011 03:23 PM

S'good way to live life. Why waist time an deffort hating when you can simply smile and be happy, hm?

Mu handwriting, Japanese and English, is fluid and artsy. It fits me. c:

Inari 05-12-2011 03:34 PM

My handwriting is horrid and unreadable xD

Azrael 05-12-2011 03:35 PM

I envy blaine for that. My handwriting looks like a boy's. It's all scratchy and anything BUT pretty. But I do like my Japanese sometimes. <3 >3< Tomomi and I think another visitor have told me that my handwriting is really nice in Japanese. so I was super happy about that.

I wanna see bo- y'know what ~off to square~

Blaine 05-12-2011 03:35 PM

My friend is like that.
He can;t write english worth anything, but he does Japanese nicely. c:

Ashurato 05-12-2011 03:36 PM

Az, I can attest to that. *nods*

Azrael 05-12-2011 03:37 PM

yay! Thank you <3 Although I have major issues with Kanji writing them. XD My kanji usually takes up the whole line while all my hiragana and katakana only takes up half a line. XD So it looks really disproportionate. And even then my kanji is bad cause I didn't have enough space to get in all the lines. @_@

Ashurato 05-12-2011 03:39 PM

Don't worry, it's very rare for me to meet someone who can write kanji in a perfect manner. And the strokes that they teach you in Japanese class/school? HA! Forget about them!

We take as many shortcuts as we can when hand-writing kanji because even -we- think it's annoying.

Blaine 05-12-2011 03:41 PM

I totally never bothered with stroke order. orz

Azrael 05-12-2011 03:42 PM

LoL That's good to know cause I know I don't write 'you' right, ever. but... then again it was also how I was /taught/ but my old Japanese teacher is... well she's native but she's been away so long that apparently she speaks like a child in Japanese. ;-;

But yeah, most of my kanji is much larger. Except I FINALLY got my 'go' for like Nihongo or such to fit my normal sized writing! I was pleased. >_>

XD Stroke order is like POUNDED into our heads >_> And in my kanji class we have/had stroke order quizzes. LoL

Ashurato 05-12-2011 03:43 PM

*pulls Blaine up from the dogeza* None of us do.

orz三

@ Az - LIES! Yeah, there is a formal stroke order, but it's really how it's easiest for you.

Azrael 05-12-2011 03:46 PM

XD My kanji teacher said that if your stroke order is wrong, they'll think you're stupid. ~snort~ I didn't... really believe her in the first place.

She wanted us all to take the jyuu kyuu? I think it was that one, the first level kanji exam. And proceeded to say that it's about first grade level and you'd get a certificate saying you passed it if you did. After she said that... I think we were all like "er... nvm" XD A certificate saying we are on the level of a Japanese first grader (at least with kanji)? I dunno. Maybe at some point I'll take one of the higher up ones...

Blaine 05-12-2011 03:46 PM

Ashur: That little person looks like he pooted as he bent over...I enjoyed it. <3

Aza: We had them too, but I never bothered to let it stick, hurr hurr.

Azrael 05-12-2011 03:48 PM

Well for the most part, the stroke orders both help me remember the kanji and make sense to me. Although that's not /all/ of them of course.

Ashurato 05-12-2011 03:49 PM

Blaine: "Sliding dogeza". XD But pooting works too.

Az: Ugh, tests are the bane of my existence.

Blaine 05-12-2011 03:55 PM

Oh, I know what I dogeza is, but on first glance? Totally a poot.

Azrael 05-12-2011 06:45 PM

~rolls through~ Hey ashy... do you have any like... tips for an oral exam and studying sentence structures? o.o

Ashurato 05-12-2011 06:54 PM

Oral exam: run it by someone who knows the language.

Sentence structure: write down the sentence and dissect it. Make sure you can explain why certain words/parts go before others.

Azrael 05-12-2011 07:00 PM

Well I mean we have set sentence structures that we were given. XD And I'm just... trying to figure out how to remember them well. @_@'

And the oral exam is an interview ;-;

Ashurato 05-12-2011 07:03 PM

Which structures are you looking at?
