DK, two things on the vocab list. Either your 'gambatte" is mispelled or it's the same thing as "ganbatte". I'm going with the latter.

And it's "kochira" not "kochiwa" >3<

Azrael 03-04-2011 05:58 PM

I'd also add "are" on there for "that over there", as well as the phrase "watashi wa(ha) ___ desu" for "I am ___" or you could put instead "watashi no namae wa(ha) ___ desu" for "My name is ___"

I'd also mention that "bai bai" is in katakana.

Azrael - my ganbatte/gambatte thing.. I've seen it spelled 2 ways D: Gambatte in the japanese coach game.. and Ganbatte in my books @-@

and I'll add those to the front :3

you know you could add stuff if you want xD you know more then I do and you have the ability to edit posts <3

Azrael 03-04-2011 06:04 PM

XD I... forgot that I could, but I wouldn't want to edit without you knowing.

And I believe the game is wrong because there is no just "m" sound in Japanese. there's "ma" "mi" "mu" "me" and "mo" but no just "m" there IS however, just an "n" sound.

I think the song is called Invoke by T.M. Revolution that I love. I used to dance to this like crazy when I was 12. xD

thats what i thought so I just put both up there until someone yelled at me x'D

Ashy 03-04-2011 06:06 PM

some words do have the "m" sound but when its notated you just use the "n" symbols

Azrael 03-04-2011 06:09 PM

... Liiiike which words? ._.

Demonskid 03-04-2011 06:10 PM

._. I'll just use the Ganbatte spelling.. and have ashurato take a look later @-@

Ashy 03-04-2011 06:11 PM

i cant think of any of the top of my head but its mainly katakana >< but there are some hirigana ones too, i remember it being sprung on us in a test at school :o

Azrael 03-04-2011 06:13 PM

I understand katakana, katakana sucks and I hate it. >3<' It's a pain in my ass. More than Kanji is sometimes. But it doesn't make sense to me with the hiragana. Oh well. >3<

Haha, I always go to Ash with any grammar questions I have...

And XD with "ganbatte" I am so used to saying "ganbatte ne" cause... "ne" is put on the end of... a lot. XD It's like a "y'know" or "right?"

Ever heard a native speaker speak English? Ever notice how much they say "right?" or "y'know?" at the end of a lot? Yeah. That's why.

Ashy 03-04-2011 06:18 PM

i have a japanese friend that says "yeah" alot, but then i do that too ><

and ive always said ganbatte as gambatte, it might depend on region maybe?

lemme grab my phrase book ><

Demonskid 03-04-2011 06:19 PM

Ashy 03-04-2011 06:23 PM
