....Note to self: Never (even if your voice does sound lower with a sore throat + a bit of mucus) try to test out the male verses of a song that's half an octave lower than your usual range when you're sick. Sure, it may be easy to reach those notes while you're singing just the melody, but actually singing the lyrics will kill your throat.

Heh, I'm everything from a tenor to a soprano >w>; I've sung the guy parts and the girl parts no problem. The bass parts normally get too low for me though XP

Ulty, you should do a duet with me >.> I've a pretty pathetic range, but can sing a tenor no problem; I'll just start actually sounding like a girl above middle E... Then again, I can change it between a girl's and a little boy's, haaah...

The song I'm working on right now...the male part goes into a low G. Like, two G's below middle C. I can hum that alright, but singing it.... /voice died.

Hahaha I loved impressing my chorus class with my range XD I would sing the alto part, then the tenor, then belt out 1st soprano notes. I should really test where exactly my range is.

... I just wish my singing voice sounded better ... All I got is range, my voice is just a bit above average, and some people's voices in that class were gorgeous ^^;

I've been told by a lot of people that my voice is pretty good.

My singing voice sounds good to me, but recorded.....that's a different story altogether.
