*nopes away from that link* *nope nope nope nope nope*

Tam I am 07-29-2017 11:23 PM

Oooooops. Oh, Den. It's not a spider link. It's a TINYSNEK. Sorry. *hug*

daikokunyo 07-30-2017 02:17 AM

Akira, is that the 1998 anime film?

Currently watching Ergo Proxy :p-cute:

Den 07-30-2017 02:43 AM

isn't it a bit older than that, I thought? It's creepy and icky and skives me out.

daikokunyo 07-30-2017 03:34 AM

Creepy and icky?

*nopes out*

idk I've never watched it :s-sweat:

Tam I am 07-30-2017 03:04 PM

Sorry for the confusion, guys. The link isn't a link to a spider. It's to a tiny little bitty girl snake who looks like an earthworm.

Den 07-30-2017 08:45 PM

we were referring to "Akira", Tam. creepy, icky anime.

tsukiko 07-30-2017 08:49 PM

lol...i own akira, but haven't ever seen it. idk if it was remade, but mine was from the 80s i think @__@ was told it was really good and a classic must-have for anime lovers. so when i found the special edition metal tin version at a used video store for $4, i grabbed it. i have a handful of anime in my collection that haven't ever been watched by me xD

Den 07-30-2017 10:19 PM

So... I did a thing...

daikokunyo 07-31-2017 01:55 AM

What kind of constructive message are you asking for :s-shock:

Tam I am 07-31-2017 03:19 AM

Den, I know you were talking about 'Akira', but I was talking about my link. XD

mdom 07-31-2017 08:11 PM

all of that time, I never realized Den could be short for Denver

wwwhhaaAATT?!

I thought it just meant Den, like a cave, and that it was edgy, like a video game character! The 'Autobot' that used to prefix before didn't help... >.>

Mdom, it's only been since late last year that "Den" was short for "Denver". before that, I was using it as a shortened version of my legal name, which I haven't gone by to my friends since 2005. Someday, I want to legally change my name to Denver Esther Aileen Grant, but for now, I will have to stick with what I was given at birth.

mdom 08-01-2017 02:51 AM

I also thought it was Den like a cave, not a real name xD

hehe you have only names as surnames.

daikokunyo 08-01-2017 03:22 AM

What was 'Autobot' about though?

Tam I am 08-01-2017 04:54 AM

She and I are Transformers fans. No, not the live action junk.

daikokunyo 08-01-2017 08:25 AM

Oooh :s-shock: that's pretty cool.

it all makes sense now :s-ninja:

mdom 08-01-2017 11:07 AM

Not even the Shia Labeouf movies xDDD

Lawtan 08-01-2017 11:43 AM

As a note, I am a bit scared at the moment.
I have a bacterial skin infection that has developed rapidly over 3 days. It has stayed localized - hasn't grown, but has occurred in multiple different spots...my back, chin, and hand.

...sort of hoping this doesn't get worse.

(Have been to the doctor)

...sorry

mdom 08-01-2017 05:09 PM

nooo, what a bad way to spend your birthday!!
Hope you recover soon!!!

Tam I am 08-01-2017 06:29 PM

Birthday?

And Shia Lebouf is not entertaining.

Has anybody got five runes I could buy? I REALLY wanna pony.

Lawtan 08-01-2017 11:23 PM

Yeah...I's a "Morning" or "Corn harvest" babby.
(Lammas, Lughnasadh, August 1, born essentially around the dawn)

And currently itching all over. xD

But not as scared/paranoid as earlier.

lol yeah, but "Grant" actually originated as a describer.

From Ancestry.com:

Quote:

English and (especially) Scottish (of Norman origin), and French: nickname from Anglo-Norman French graund, graunt ‘tall’, ‘large’ (Old French grand, grant, from Latin grandis), given either to a person of remarkable size, or else in a relative way to distinguish two bearers of the same personal name, often representatives of different generations within the same family. English and Scottish: from a medieval personal name, probably a survival into Middle English of the Old English byname Granta (see Grantham). Probably a respelling of German Grandt or Grand.

Has anybody got five runes I could buy? I wanna buy my avatar a horse for my birthday.

Awww. Happy birthday belated! I'll be 44 on the 28th.

If you could get unpasteurized honey, it might clear up that itch pretty quick. Might also make your horses love you even more.

mdom 08-02-2017 07:45 PM

Ahhh didn't know grant came from grand!

this whole month can be a birthday party in the thread then xD

Tam I am 08-02-2017 07:53 PM

Thank you, mdom! That was so kind!

mdom 08-02-2017 08:20 PM

You're welcome ^^
when I have, I give. Which is like, not often xD

Lawtan 08-03-2017 12:59 AM

Birfday Party Thread!

*Grabs a whistle, and tuts it thrice*

Letting spirits ring from the books and tales,
The walls of the house turn a festive hue,
Deep reds and oranges - yellow and violet, too,
Spackled across walls, woven like sails,

The floor is littered in colors of leaves and glitter,
The windows open to bright moonlit hour,
Tables of dips, chips, and fruits - pickles and sour,
Mix with sweet pumpkinbread and the sound of birds a-twitter,

Cinnamon and Pumpkin Spice,
Red Velvet and Dark Chocolate,
A month of fall Births (nice!)
Blooms in the Library-late.

...a bit rusty at the poetry. xD

Natsunaine 08-03-2017 03:31 PM

Lawtan 08-03-2017 04:33 PM

*Dances with mdom*

How's everyone doing?

daikokunyo 08-04-2017 02:05 AM

I love the poem :s-love: I'm sad it's too long to quote in my signature :(

Den 08-04-2017 02:13 AM

I'm about ready to start a gofundme to get myself a new laptop. This one is seven years old, and almost a fire hazard.

daikokunyo 08-04-2017 02:16 AM

Good luck Den, I hope you meet your goal :s-smile:

Den 08-04-2017 02:21 AM

Oh, I'm not actually starting one. I'm just really frustrated with the laptop right now. if I do set up a gofundme, I'll let y'all know.

daikokunyo 08-04-2017 12:27 PM

Ahh ok :s-sweat:
My old laptop was in terrible shape. The battery spoiled, so it drained the MOMENT it was unplugged, and the sound didn't work so I had to use heaphones/speakers, and the mouse didn't work so I had to use a USB mouse.
My current one I bought for college requirements and I love it although according to my Dad it's supposed to be less powerful. It's very good to me *strokes the lappy*
