How's your day been?

Vincent *hugs*
It's been... eventful. Got my final primal fight finished and now have to level up a bit to get my summon, the final one until they release the new ones. And my brain is starting to relax. How has yours been?

Lawtan 05-03-2014 04:46 PM

*Uses shinyness to blind le Vincent Price*
RUUUUNNNN!!!! HE'S ONTO MEEEEEE!!!!!!

Vincent 05-03-2014 04:53 PM

@ Saiyouri ;
Awesome. Kinda good and sad to get the final fight finished, huh?
It sucks when you finally finish all there is to do and nothing is left but wait til they put stuff in. :c

It's good to hear you're relaxing , though.
It's been alright. Woke up and had breakfast so far.
Still working on my game plan.
Don't know if I'm going to , (in my current game, Romancing Saga) going to go to the 3rd character's playthrough right away, or just take a pitstop in Saga Frontier 1 again to relive old memories because playing Romancing Saga is really getting me reminiscent of playing Saga Frontier. lol.

@ Lawman ;
Arrrghh! -shielding eyes-
You shan't escape from me, Lawman. D<

Saiyouri 05-03-2014 04:57 PM

LOl have fun picking what you are going to do next. I'm thinking of ordering yarn to make an afghan but I'm not getting that far on it haha.

I still have a ton of stuff to do in the game though. The final primal fight is to unlock a ton of stuff for end game and my final summon fight. I tried it once. I think another level or two would help me out alot at least. So I got tons to do. Plus after 50 I can do a moogle dungeon. No idea what that is but that's all I know lol.

Espy 05-03-2014 05:01 PM

Speaking of shininess, this is the first time I'm trying to actually get rares and whatnot in any Pokemon game. Never paid much attention to that stuff before.

Vincent 05-03-2014 05:05 PM

@ Saiyouri ;
Thanks. XD I'm going to need it. I think most likely I'll finish off the second character and start a bit on Saga Frontier again. P:

Ohh then that sounds pretty awesome :3
How much do levels help? Do they add alot to your stats and do you get more skills by leveling or do you learn them via other methods?

Moogle dungeon sounds pretty epic. Maybe it has lots of good items and equipment in there?

@ Espy ;
But that's like one of the most fun parts. XD
What pokemon game are you doing this in, and what have you gotten so far?

Espy 05-03-2014 05:18 PM

I just started White. I played halfway through Black 2 on an emulator, but Pokemon on emulator = sort of shitty, so when my friend decided to sell his games....well...

TBH, I would be playing X or Y, but I don't have a 3DS for...reasons.

Saiyouri 05-03-2014 05:25 PM

Vincent- Oh yeah the weapons and stuff from the moggle dungeon is fricken awesome I heard. But it's hard to get in and the easy mode is hard as hell so I'm guessing the hard mode is murder lol.

Levels do help alot with summoner. I got one level and used a item for spell speed and finished a fight easily with no trouble. I have low hp so I will have extra hp and that will help me out alot. For me to earn new abilities I have now get them with quests or every 4 or so levels. I think I get something next level but I'm like 200k away so I got a ton of grinding to do haha.

I got my yarn, now to play on my tablet, snuggle my kitty and think of what to do. Cross stitch or crochet, no idea lol.

Vincent 05-03-2014 05:26 PM

Ah. /: That sucks.

I never played White, just Black.
The first pokemon game I've ever played. (discounting ones like pokemon snap, stadium, and the like)
It surprised me that I spent like 300 hours on it. A pokemon game, I said to myself. XD

Vincent 05-03-2014 05:28 PM

@ Saiyouri ;
Sounds awesome, then. There's an easy and hard mode? Like you choose easy or hard for the dungeon, or just overall on the game?

That's nice to hear.
Sounds pretty good, then. xD
Extra hp is always good to have, especially on those more fragile characters.
Wow. How much exp do the enemies give on average? Where you normally grind?

Haha. Sounds like you're having fun. XD

My favorite is still the Gen 3 series, even though other people didn't really like it. I guess it's because it was my first Pokemon game.

Vincent 05-03-2014 06:10 PM

Hmm was that the diamond/pearl set? /Can't really remember

I don't think I'd be able to get into anything earlier then white/black, sadly. I blame X and Y for having some pretty good graphics. Going back in graphics would probably make it drag for me.
(partly the reason I couldn't really get into FF7)

Lawtan 05-03-2014 06:13 PM

*Strolls around not knowing the first thing about the pokemon games, other than I found an emulator of the original and haven't yet played it.*

Vincent 05-03-2014 06:17 PM

@ Lawman ;
-pokes the shiny ball of law-
poor lawman. Shall I get you some rum? xD

Lawtan 05-03-2014 06:19 PM

Nah.
Why not tell me more about the games?

Espy 05-03-2014 06:28 PM

Gen 3 is Sapphire/Emerald/Ruby.

Lawtan 05-03-2014 06:29 PM

.-.

I only know Gen 1

Ultima 05-03-2014 06:35 PM

I haven't played 6 at all, and only a bit of 5. ... I feel like a bad Pokemon fan >w>;

Vincent 05-03-2014 06:35 PM

@ Lawman ;
Hmmm. There's alot to know... xD
You can have up to 6 in your team. You can store aloot of others you catch in a box.
Theres a bunch of additional items that are hidden around everywhere , you need to swim with your pokemon, push around boulders, etc to find them. They can heal your pokemon or you can have your pokemon hold the item to give additional effects during battle.
Uhh. Depending on how you train your pokemon, different stats will get more of a boost.
just. lots of stuff. XD

@ Espy ;
Ah. I was close. xD
Wasn't there a glitch or whatnot in Emerald, maybe, where you can Dupe pokemon and stuff?

Vincent 05-03-2014 06:36 PM

@ Ulti ;
Pshh. 5 is a good one though.
You can always get 6 when you want.

Do you watch alot of the anime or something? (since you considered yourself a fan at least XD)

Ultima 05-03-2014 06:49 PM

I used to. I'd LOVE to watch it in Japanese, but can't find it anywhere v.v; And I loved playing the games, but was never competitive or hardcore about it. I just liked them~

Vincent 05-03-2014 06:56 PM

@ Ulti ;
You'd think it wouldn't be that hard to find...
I'm guessing you've already tried youtube and google, yes? xD

The games are fun on both a lighthearts and competitive level~
I play on a competitive level, even though I don't have anyone or anyway to be competitive with... haha.
I just like making really strong pokemon with good stats.

Ultima 05-03-2014 07:09 PM

I've tried just about everywhere I can think of. Crunchyroll, Hulu, Netflix, Googled it, and went to a couple other um, not-so-legit sites I know of. Everywhere either doesn't have it, or it's in English. Hulu even has Spanish, but no Japanese :s-ugh:

Edit: WAIT. May have just found it somewhere. -starts watching- YESSSS. Hopefully they have every episode @___@;

Vincent 05-03-2014 07:14 PM

Well that... sucks. And is rather surprising...

I found this on a quick look up. Didn't read too much into it besides what google said, so does this help?
>Click Here<

Ultima 05-03-2014 07:16 PM

Hehe, I edited my post but I guess you didn't see XD

Vincent 05-03-2014 07:18 PM

No I didn't. Sorry x:
And wow, finally you found it. XD
/is a good luck charm

I bet you're all excited now~

Ultima 05-03-2014 07:21 PM

-nodnod- I am used to the English terms, though. Like Pokeball and Pokedex, and the English names for the Pokemon. I'll have to get used to the Japanese terms and names, but I'm pretty quick to learn, so it shouldnt be that tough owo

Vincent 05-03-2014 07:22 PM

That's good. xD Is this going to be a biig arse pokemon marathon for you now?
Cuz there are a hella lot of episodes.
If you include all the gens, then it's a universe of episodes.
You'll be there for a while. XD

Ultima 05-03-2014 07:26 PM

Th-this site has almost 500. Not sure if that's all of them but uh ... yeahhh.... owo;

I should be studying for my art history exam on monday but ... OH WELL :s-excited:

Vincent 05-03-2014 07:28 PM

Wow...That's like. alot...
I don't know if that's all of them.. but. I guess you'll find out huh. 8'D

NOO ULTI SHOULD STUDY.
WHAT HAVE I (WE) DONE?!

Ultima 05-03-2014 07:30 PM

XDDD I'll find time. I tend to get bored of things rather quickly.

And I'm actually kinda surprised at how much I understand without the subtitles o.o Japanese classes are paying off!

Vincent 05-03-2014 07:34 PM

Pshh. We'll see.
But yeah, I tend to get bored easily, too.
Wish I didn't, but meh. xD

Whoo! Go Ulti~ -high fives- XD

Ultima 05-03-2014 07:36 PM

Well it is a kid's show, so they probably use more simple words and phrases, and probably speak a bit slower than normal. Watching other anime in Japanese, I rarely understand what they're saying owo;

Vincent 05-03-2014 07:38 PM

Ah, well still, that's an accomplishment. XD
I wouldn't know a thing they're saying.

I don't really know what the charm is watching an anime in japanese is to begin with... but hey.

Ultima 05-03-2014 07:43 PM

Hehe honestly, I lovvveee the Japanese language and culture and stuff. And because Japanese is the original language anime is made in, it just seems more ... natural? owo;
