yeeeeeeah, except I told her to measure her head WITH the hair up and WITH the wig on. Three times. Because the first time I didn't believe her, the second time I really didn't believe her, and the third time cause I was hoping she'd figure it out.... My head, with my hair down, is as big around as the measurement she gave me, and she's seven inches taller than me.

Echo-chan713 08-13-2011 08:32 PM

I think she has selected hearing

Fey 08-13-2011 08:39 PM

apparently, though it apparently was in effect for ALL her measurements. As though I'd JUDGE her by her size...I'm not exactly a size four here!

Echo-chan713 08-13-2011 08:44 PM

Neither am I; I'm a size 16-18 so I'm a plus size curvy girl cosplaying as feminine men

Fey 08-13-2011 08:48 PM

it's the only reason I can think she wouldn't give me accurate numbers.

Echo-chan713 08-13-2011 08:54 PM

I can give you my numbers I'm not really afraid to tell you my numbers, everyone is built differently. She shouldn't really be afraid of numbers

Fey 08-13-2011 09:00 PM

yep, hence why I'm just even more miffed

Echo-chan713 08-13-2011 09:04 PM

I thought she was the skinny high school kid wanting to cosplay for the first time

Fey 08-13-2011 09:08 PM

O.o no, the other chick is just a high school friend of the roommates(they went to HS together yeeeeeeears ago), and she's not skinny.

Echo-chan713 08-13-2011 09:09 PM

I can tell when you told me about her being afraid of numbers. I'm a 42"bust 36" waist and a 48" hips

Fey 08-13-2011 09:12 PM

I usually worry more about fit and less about numbers, I know how to dart it to fit, and I know how to let out seams if need be.

Echo-chan713 08-13-2011 09:16 PM

So do I, I'd rather have things bigger on me than smaller

Fey 08-13-2011 09:17 PM

I'd rather have them fit, bigger or smaller, if the fit is wrong you'll look bad.

Echo-chan713 08-13-2011 09:25 PM

well if it's bigger you can always take it in, if it's too small then you have to mess around with the pattern to add the fabric to the outfit

Fey 08-13-2011 09:26 PM

but if you do it right the first time it'll fit great from the get go!

Echo-chan713 08-13-2011 09:28 PM

yea, and hence I have a hard time sewing clothes, But I do sew small accessories like hats
