Yes indeed!
LoL, makes me want some now.

Addy 01-06-2011 11:28 PM

That might be the one! I had a friend from Oscoda, which is .. like an hour from Petoski? I think she went to Silverleaf once maybe. o: Unless I'm all confused. Sounds familiar, though.

Ana 01-06-2011 11:30 PM

Hehe, me too. It's been so long since I"ve had a good bread bowl. They make turkey legs once in a rare while at the deli in the store I work at. I look for them every day, lol

It probably was Silverleaf. ^^ It's the only one I've really heard of in Michigan.

Addy 01-06-2011 11:31 PM

You guys are making me hungry. D8

And yaaay, mystery solved. 83

Ana 01-06-2011 11:34 PM

Hehe, I'm making myself hungry too. XD

Logan 01-06-2011 11:35 PM

I was in Baltimore recently past weekend >->;
I went to The Hippo (gay club) and had fun...
but dangerous area.. Dx

Addy 01-06-2011 11:36 PM

I've ever been to a place that big before. D: I went with a friend to Ann Arbor, Michigan, a couple months ago, and it was like.. culture shock. XD

Ana 01-06-2011 11:38 PM

I've never been to Baltimore. I've heard that parts of it are really nice and parts of it are really scary. And that both parts can be less than a mile from each other, lol.

Hehe, I can imagine. Most of the UP towns are pretty small, aren't they? Sad, I grew up in Michigan and lived there for 20 some years and never went to the UP, lol.

Addy 01-06-2011 11:39 PM

You're definitely not missing much up here. XD The biggest city has a population of around 20,000 people.. Marquette, if you've heard of it. I go to college there. I live in the biggest town in the county and there are only 1,700 people in this town. B|

My aunt says it's brilliant, but like I said I've never gotten to go.

Ana 01-06-2011 11:43 PM

I've heard of Marquette ^^ Hehe, that's what I thought. I've heard there's lots of really beautiful scenery though.

@ Doctor - Every year I say "I'm gonna go this year" but it hasn't happened yet, lol. Maybe next year >.>

dragoness129 01-06-2011 11:45 PM

Walmart had some turkey legs around Thanksgiving time.

I just finished eating a Hot Pocket.

DOCTOR WHO?! 01-06-2011 11:46 PM

I haven't got the funds to go.
I'm generally bad with saving money.
Mostly because I'll go into bookstores when I'm meant to be saving and buy a bunch of books.
><

Addy 01-06-2011 11:48 PM

Ana - It IS really pretty, I will give it that. 8D I kinda take it for granted without realizing it, I guess just cuz I don't know what it's really like in other areas, y'know? O: I'm sure once I get out and travel I'll realize how pretty it can be here.

And now, I skitter off to make dinner. Back in a bit!

Ana 01-06-2011 11:56 PM

Mmmmm.... I love when Walmart has turkey legs

Hehe. I'm really bad at saving money too. For very similar reasons, lol.

See you in a bit Addy ^^

dragoness129 01-06-2011 11:58 PM

I love books! Especially Fantasy. <3

Ana 01-07-2011 12:00 AM

Me too ^^ What are your favorite authors/series?

DOCTOR WHO?! 01-07-2011 12:06 AM

Oh, so, so, so many.
My favorites are:
The Night Huntress Series by Jeaniene Frost
The Vampire Academy By Richelle Mead
The Sookie Stackhouse Novels by Charlene Harrison
House of Night series by P.C and Kristin Cast.

And those are just a few I've got over 500 books in my own person library, and because I've got so many those are the only ones popping up to the front of my mind. XD

dragoness129 01-07-2011 12:14 AM

I love The Dragon Keeper Chronicles by Donita K. Paul the most. There are so many wonderful books!
Here is a short list:
- The Dragon Keeper Chronicles by Donita K. Paul
- Inkheart series by Corneilia Funke
- The Inheritace series by Christopher Paolini
- The Redwall series by Brian Jacques

I like books with Dragons in them the most it seems. <3
I counted all of my books at one time. I don't remember how many it was. I should recount sometime. ^_^

It seems like you like Vampire books, Doctor. Have you read The Vampire Huntess Legend by L.A. Banks? I have only read the first three books in that series, but they are pretty good so far.

Batty 01-07-2011 12:19 AM

BAHAHA. STOLE LAPPY BACK FROM DOCTOR.

Jeaniene Frost is MY favorite author in the world. Even got an autographed booksleeve from her once for free. She sent it to me and everything. It was a momentous moment.

Also, the Doctor says she's ouut. As am I nao. We're gonna go finish the episode we started. :3

Ana 01-07-2011 12:23 AM

Hehe, the only one I've read from either of your lists is the Sookie Stackhouse series and I'm only on the first one so far, lol. I'll have to check out the rest though ^^

Some of my favorites are Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind, Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan and the Kushiel series by Jacqueline Carey. I also really like horror novels too. Stephen King and Clive Barker are two favorites there.

dragoness129 01-07-2011 12:42 AM

My husband likes horror novels like Steven King as well as Fantasy.
The only book by Stephanie Meyer he likes is The Host.
I have one book from the Wheel of Time series, but have not gotten to read it yet. And I think it is like book 8 or something, so I would have to read the others first.
Hmm, Sword of Truth sounds familiar, but I don't think I have read it.

I've read the first one, and I've seen the show. I'm still mad they canceled season three. I need my Richard. =[
