dragoness129 01-06-2011 08:34 PM

I have a couple outfits as well, but I can no longer fit them.

DOCTOR WHO?! 01-06-2011 08:40 PM

Came back.
XP
Decided to play with the colours this time.

Ana 01-06-2011 08:44 PM

Luckily, oneo f my two outfits is the kind that will fit pretty much any size, so I'll never be the wrong size for it, lol.

Hello Doctor! *waves*

DOCTOR WHO?! 01-06-2011 08:48 PM

Oh, hey, it's Ana!
*waves back*
Good to see you!
How are you?

dragoness129 01-06-2011 08:50 PM

Mine are all too tight around the chest.

Ana 01-06-2011 08:55 PM

I'm good. Got a Droid phone today so I'm playing around with it and learning what all I can do. ^^ How are you?

Ah. I've had that problem before. Stupid big boobs, lol.

dragoness129 01-06-2011 08:57 PM

Yeah.
I think my very first Ren Faire outfit was made when I was 15 too, so that was a while ago. I don't think I have that one still.

DOCTOR WHO?! 01-06-2011 08:58 PM

Droid. XD My dad has one. It's rather annoying. Well, I should probably say he's tones for it are annoying.

<<

Ana 01-06-2011 09:02 PM

Hehe, yeah I would imagine pretty much anything bought at 15 wouldn't last too many years. Both of my outfits are fairly new. My newest one is my favorite. It's a "wench" style outfit, and it certainly makes the best of my chest, lol.

Hehe, I don't have any special ringtones for mine yet, although I'll get some now that I have a good phone. What tones does he have?

DOCTOR WHO?! 01-06-2011 09:04 PM

The annoying default ones XD

You can only take hearing "drooooid" for so long.
If I lived with him, I'd have probably gone insane already.

Ana 01-06-2011 09:10 PM

Ah, yeah I'm changing that soon, lol. It's funny the first couple times, but would get annoying after a while.

dragoness129 01-06-2011 09:13 PM

My grandma made most of the ones I have <3 She is so sweet!

Ana 01-06-2011 09:16 PM

Oooh.... that's really cool! I wish I could make Ren outfits. I have to buy mine, lol.

DOCTOR WHO?! 01-06-2011 09:19 PM

Trust me, Ana, it does.
Are we talking about, like, cosplay costumes?
*is a little slow*
<<

Ana 01-06-2011 09:29 PM

Hehe, we're talking about costumes to wear to Ren Faires ^^

dragoness129 01-06-2011 09:32 PM

I want to make my own and some for the girls when they are old enough to go. I think it would be so cool!

Ana 01-06-2011 09:33 PM

That would be cool. I tried sewing once when I was in highschool. It was not a successful experiment, lol. Haven't sewn since. XD

Addy 01-06-2011 09:34 PM

Hellooo, I have returned. O:

Sewing!
I have not sewn in ages. I sorta taught myself after looking up some tutorials on Youtube. Made myself a couple plushies. :3 It's pretty time-consuming, though.

Ana 01-06-2011 09:36 PM

*waves at Addy*

You taught yourself? Wow, that's impressive. I took a class and still sucked at it, lol.

Addy 01-06-2011 09:37 PM

I probably suck and just don't know it yet. XD;; My one plushie did sorta fall apart - his foot fell off! Some stitches I don't quite get, I guess. And I haven't had the time to keep up on practicing. ;w;

Ana 01-06-2011 09:40 PM

Hehe, at least it looked like what you were making. I tried making a jumper and it wasn't even wearable, lol.

Addy 01-06-2011 09:41 PM

Ooh, something that big.. I wouldn't know. D: I feel like you'd need a sewing machine for that. I have never used one of those.

dragoness129 01-06-2011 09:44 PM

I still need to learn how to sew. I can kinda hand stitch.
I want to be a Fashion Designer, going to college online for it now (well, next class starts on the 10th).
I am more interesting in the designing part rather than the sewing part, but it would be amazing to make my own designs!

Ana 01-06-2011 09:46 PM

Hehe, yeah, we had a sewing machine to use in the class. Thing scared the crap out of me, lol.

Addy 01-06-2011 09:48 PM

I'd be nervous, too. ;w; I don't want no needles in my fingers!

Still, kinda tempted to buy one up in the future. Just so I can do more plushie-makin.

Ana 01-06-2011 09:59 PM

Yeah, needle moving at hundreds of miles per hour near my fingers make me a little nervous, lol

Addy 01-06-2011 10:10 PM

I figure once I get used to it, it won't be so bad, but oh man, I do know what you mean. XD

Ana 01-06-2011 10:17 PM

Needles and I are not friends, lol. Which is funny, since I'm seriously considering getting a tattoo. XD

Addy 01-06-2011 10:19 PM

Haa. Well, those needles were designed to go into your skin. A tad different from a sewing needle! XD

I had a tattoo done when I was 18, it wasn't too bad. In fact I wanna get another one. I just need to figure out what. ;w;

What were you planning on getting?

Ana 01-06-2011 10:25 PM

It's a tribalized version of a design I came up with several years ago. It's hard to explain, but it's a simple outline of a woman with long hair dancing. I have a tattoo artist chosen and have the concept drawn. I just need to save the money for the tattoo. I'll post a pic when I get it done ^^

Addy 01-06-2011 10:27 PM

Should be awesome once it's done. :D! And your own design, too. Very cool.

Mine's just a barcode. It reads ADDY in unicode 128-A, though. So - no, I don't scan at grocery stores. XD But somewhere I probably do!

Ana 01-06-2011 10:33 PM

Lol, nice.

I'm really excited that it's going to be based on an original design of mine. They drew it much, much nicer than I can though, lol.

DOCTOR WHO?! 01-06-2011 10:39 PM

Ah. My Aunt goes to the Ren Fair in Baltimore.
I was meant to go with her back in October, but it never happened.
Was a tad short on time and money.
:C

Ana 01-06-2011 10:47 PM

I've heard the one in Baltimore is really good. I've always wanted to go to that one.

Addy 01-06-2011 10:49 PM

A ren faire seems like it'd be really fun. Never been to one, though. D: Not really anything like that around here.

dragoness129 01-06-2011 10:51 PM

-got lost in other places-
I have been to the one in Pennsylvania (or was it Ohio?) and the one in South Carolina (or was it North Carolina?). Eh, two of those four places, lol.

Ana 01-06-2011 10:54 PM

I've been to one in Michigan a couple times. They're lots of fun. My favorite part is seeing how people dress up. Some people take it seriously and dress in authentic Renaissance wear. Others get a bit more... creative, lol. My favorite was the Barbarian Fairy. He was huge, bearded, manly looking barbarian... wearing pink, sparkly fairy wings, lol.

Addy 01-06-2011 10:59 PM

XD!! That is amazing.

There are some faires in Michigan, but not really in the area I live. I'm from Upper Michigan so ... a zillion miles away from all the fun stuff in Lower Michigan. -w- I wanna say the only one I know of is over eight hours away.

dragoness129 01-06-2011 11:01 PM

LoL, sounds cool. ^_^
I love the food there.

Ana 01-06-2011 11:10 PM

Ah, yeah. I went to one called Silverleaf. It was originally near Grand Rapids and then moved to Battle Creek.

Oooh... Ren Faire food is the best. Turkey legs and bread bowls yumm
