I'm with Coda here, I can still walk a straight line when drunk and think coherently (albeit I will express really dark humor and an antisocial attitude). However I'm also very picky with alcohol and I think the last time I bought anything was a bottle of vodka roughly a year ago - out of curiousity to try one of these "make your own liquor" things which is basically just a bunch of dried fruit, sugar and leaves to throw into already existing alcohol.

speaking of alcohol, i've only drunk WKD, and that was at home for my birthday. i get wildly nervous abt things, so mum had part of one and gave the rest to dad bc she felt shitty.

also, yeah, i can recommend eating something that's greasy / fatty first before drinking alcohol. that's what mum told me anyways, and i'd eaten a wrap, i think?

my dad has a mild problem w/ alcoholism, i think he had it worse in the past, but he is trying to make his own mead and adding cherries into it. (i may or may not be predisposed to addiction as a result of mum smoking when i was still in the womb / having a generally addictive personality / possible adhd)

for more context, WKD is basically a sort of soda but with a small alcohol content. like, 0.4%? very mild.

actual shout into the void post: so someone reblogged an old drawing i did of wilson for pride month on tumblr, and-- get this -- his eyes have fucking moved to face the viewer instead of facing away.

i'm not sure what caused that to happen but it looks poorly edited and it's really fucking wigging me out because i have no idea if it's a redraw of last year's pride month thing or something, y'know? i don't remember drawing it but i definitely remember the eyes being in a different position.

so that's fun. i'm about to lose the rest of my sanity over this honestly.

...okay that’s super creepy in more than one way.

yeah it fuckin is. i have no idea if i edited it, removed the drawing (since i use the text editor on tumblr and publish drawings in a text post, usually) and updated it with the eyes to face the viewer.

i have no memory of doing this and i don't think anyone else can access my blog(s) other than my dad and he doesn't use tumblr.

Merskelly Metalien 11-12-2019 12:47 PM

Ahhh, waking up to have some breakfast and a nice hot cup of tea on a cool morning!~

Coda 11-12-2019 01:28 PM

B-b-but it's the British way! Americans drink coffee! XD

Biomecha 11-12-2019 03:21 PM

Me...a non-functioning adult, seeing all these people who have actually achieved things consider themselves to be non-functioning adults. But I've literally achieved nothing, so it makes me feel even worse in a way.

Kory 11-12-2019 03:43 PM

DID YOU MAKE THE TEA IN A KETTLE?!!?

It's not the British way to make it in the microwave!

Good thing: I might be promoted to lead of my department soon at work.
Bad thing: It's a full time position and I like sleeping.

Stabbsworth 11-12-2019 07:40 PM

neutral muttering.

went to see my YTer brother today. got vaguely annoyed at one of either his or his gf's comments on my father's nose, then was told to stop crying when i got emotional bc the prospect of losing my father is not something i will ever be able to bear.

hey, mum, you want an emotionally stunted kid, or do you want an overemotional one, you useless excuse for a parent?!

Your bother is a YouTuber?

I'm very sorry to hear about your father. :(

I feel you Francisco. My team lead and manager constantly stay late at work, and like, I wouldn't be cool with that
