I talk about the rps I'm in even more than I post in them to keep my interest up, otherwise I get hardcore writer's block... though sometimes I get it anyway, just because of my low swings.
Actually, today she's going to be writing up a short story with our boys in an AU. In the current rp, they're superheroes... or, are going to be. They've known each other for a year and have just started dating. ... You're better off not getting me started on RPs. |
I like talking about RPs though xD I love RPs it's just I have a short attention span and I get a LOT of artist's block and I suck at writing in general. Superheroes dating? :o sounds interesting. |
It's, eh... A little like an X-Men and Kick-Ass mix, if you know what I mean... Like, there's the whole powers and mutations thing, but they're also just bros that wanna make the world less craptastic. My fella adapts, not super fast to where you throw him in a lake and BAM, gills, but. The more he gets hurt, the more resistant he is to it. At the current state he's in, he can jump from 40 stories or get hit by a train and walk away still. You don't wanna see how much he spends on clothes, considering they don't last nearly as long as he does...
The other guy messes with light. Currently he just makes little illusions, but with more control, he'll be able to do lasers eventually. ... They really suck right now. I mean. light guy stopped a bank robbery, but almost got himself shot in the process. And my boy stopped a mugging, but DID get himself stabbed... So... |

It'll take ages for it to become too much. As it is, IF something is bad enough to kill him, he WILL die. He can't change quick enough to stop that. He has next to no work with poisons and venoms, and frankly, some are so dangerous that he pretty much has no hope of getting full immunity from without death. Plus, he does age (though more slowly) because it's a natural thing, not real trauma. And his skin gets tougher more quickly than his internal organs, so after a point? If he gets some kinda internal bleeding going on, hospital won't have good enough equipment to cut him open and take care of the problem.

Aha, told you it was like a mix. He's still really vulnerable, and to be prepared properly? He's going to end up needing to cause more harm to himself. Not very lovely way to train.

I love to RP. Ages ago me and my old bestfriend had about 5-6 RP storylines - our first big one was a band RP, that then evolved to include 2 bands, then one of the couples had babies :3 T'was so cute. And we have loads of memories from all the amusing times they had x] We used to sit in class and doodle them together and stuff. c: We also have a demons/angels one that my friend was turning into a manga - t'was really good. We have most of the storyline planned out now, but we tend to just RP bits and pieces whenever we're bored. We haven't properly RP'd in years ;< I'm a little rusty. ): |

Eheh. Her and I have done a wide variety. Besides our superheroes, we've also done alien/colonist, zombies (same pair), slice of life (same pair), dramatic 'slice of life' (same pair... again), thief/bodyguard... Hm. Also a Harry Potter universe story, and a knight/squire one.

Eh. I've been rping for a good 7/8 years now. I like playing with people that are traditionally considered below my level... I can't stand the folks that write long novels. Sorry. The flow and life of the story is just lost to me in that format. I rarely give them profiles, either.

Heh... I've been known to do replies as short as, literally, two words long... And as many as 9 paragraphs. In the same rp. Limits are not my style, no matter which way it goes.
