I just completed The Hunger Games. Many people were raving about it and I decided to see what the hype was about and found it sadly lacking.

I have avoided reading the Hunger games myself. judging by its fan base I can be pretty sure it wont appeal to me, or be amazing at the least.

I just finished re-reading the Hobbit. I had forgotten so much of it..

The last book I've finished is The Power of Six by Pittacus Lore.
I found it as a good read, but other books I've read before this one has hit me with a greater impact.

Recently finished "A Storm of Swords" by George R. R. Martin already onto "A Feast for Crows" the 4th in the set, i cant put them down

Kiddiss 03-21-2012 09:08 PM

Ooh- "The Martian Chronicles" sounds interesting! *adds to "Must read after FINALLY finishing 'Atlas Shrugged'" list*

The last book I finished was a read-in-one-night book called "Michael Vey of Cell 25".
It's a book written for the adolescent crowd, but so was Harry Potter, so I read it. It's going to be similar to Harry Potter I the way that the tone of the books will mature as the main characters age. The main plot is that Michael has a special power, and a secret group is trying to recruit him into a program with other teens who have a special power similar to his. It's a very interesting concept, and I can't wait for the next book ^_^

Howl's moving castle. Soooo good, one of my fave reads because the characters are interesting and despicable in their own wonderful ways. Hard to describe, but definitely better than the movie.

Dune by Frank Herbert. Was for Sci-Fi/English class. For its size, it actually isn't a tedious read.
