If I got to pick the week I would either go to Wasteland Weekend or Pennsic during peace week.
If I did not get to pick the week I would also grocery shop like crazy, get new work clothes and fill up like 20 gascans. |

Wasteland Weekend is a huge post-apocalyptic Mad Max style full immersion festival that takes place in the desert every year. It's super cool and I want to go just once.
Pennsic is the world's largest SCA event and a medieval recreation event that spans over two weeks. It's got tons of classes, merchants, feasts and revels. It's just amazing and I would love to go. I plan to go not this year but next year, but it is hard to plan. Joke's on you, I don't live in a flat. :P |

I think you underestimate how rurual an area I live in and I just put a sawhorse with some plywood on them so they don't get snowed on. I live 30 miles from the nearest fuel station.

Other than the threat of bars, mountain lions, avalanches, mudslides, falling rocks and idiot drivers in the snow, it is hecka safe.
The quiet and peaceful parts are best. There isn't cell phone service in our alley though, so mildly inconvenient. |
at one of my old flats a gal was being hit and shoved into the bak of a car until i threatened the guy with violene and and my neighbors on the other side was held at gunpoint and had their house ransacked and two blokes followed me to my door once and then hung around in front of it for a while all in the span of like 5 months
