Fictions: I don't know since I am just getting into Vocaloid, but I really love the song, also because I can understand his feelings a bit ^^;

Senyoru: Y'know yelling doesn't stop anyone who's too proud to admit defeat, and I think those restaurants should have checked the cook before they hired him, and most of the time just thought twice if opening a restaurant was the right thing to do....

I meant "hell's kitchen" some of them are really stupid...but that's the thing they join to learn...some of them thinks it's just for them to show off though, BAD IDEA.

All I remember from one of Ramsay's shows is this total tool of a guy freaking out when Ramsay asked him to choose a member of the team that failed the challenge or whatever. And the guy just kept repeating, "I AIN'T NO BITCH. I AIN'T NO FUCKING BITCH!" and randomly stormed off the stage.

Yeeeah, if that's the type of idiot Gordon Ramsay has to deal with every day, I say he's perfectly in the right yelling all the time. xD

Yuki 07-29-2010 03:24 PM

That's what I mean, it's not easy for him either. Dx

Fictions: I see ^^ Well I just recently discovered their existence... y'know that's why I hate this god forsaken country I live in, I feel so ignorant and slow D<

Senyoru: As I said, most of them should have thought it over more than once before they opened a restaurant :/
My all time favorite TV cooks are only known in Denmark, but they are freakin' awesome, and have lot of irony and humor and stuff, and their food is really good too (I've tried more than one of their recipes)

And no matter what you others think, I still say yelling is never the right solution, it shows that you're in lack of control, just the same as smacking your children, it's only something you do when you're not fit to be a parent and can't handle the situation...
And this comes from a girl who has a temper worth of an Italian "mama"...

Yuki 07-29-2010 03:27 PM

I don't care about Swedish TV cooks like..."Mat Tina"...noooess...half of the time I have no idea what she's talking about...

Aiko 07-29-2010 03:31 PM

Well Swedish is kinda different from Danish =_=; Plus they eat shrimps and mashed potato on their hot dogs D<
On the winning side they have the best blueberries and cider in the whole wide world

oh yeah and they put honey in their rye bread....D<
Rye bread was never meant to be sweet

johnny 07-29-2010 03:33 PM

I find the Food Network here in America to be extremely boring, the cooks/chefs all fake-happy and irritating, and just... the whole thing, really dull. The only show I like is one called "Good Eats" because it's less.. I suppose "passive" would be the right word. It actually tries to entertain the viewer, instead of the usual method of cooking-and-explaining.

Yuki 07-29-2010 03:34 PM

The potatoes I know but I have never heard about the other things...

And Tina doesn't speak Swedish she speaks fucking "Skånska" which is like Swedish and Danish MIXED.

Aiko 07-29-2010 03:39 PM

Senyoru: Well rye bread is a kind of bread that mostly on people from Scandinavia eat... and people from Germany... German bread is rather good..
And well it's made of sour dough and rye mostly, it tastes a lot better than it sounds, and then those Swedish people go and put honey in it T-T
But most people from Denmark doesn't make better food than Swedish people..
So all the hate is really just brother fighting... since the dawn of time (at least since we divided into countries) we have always been fighting back and forth... Europe have the longest history of having grudges against each other in history, even the people down in the middle east can't beat us... that's why EU was made, so we would stop fighting each other for the sake of our now shared economy....
We kinda got tired of wars after Hitler...

Yuki 07-29-2010 03:41 PM

I have never met anyone who puts honey on anything. Besides maybe tea or some meat...

Aiko 07-29-2010 03:42 PM

Senyoru: try going to Scandinavia ^^;
But I warn you, we are weird, and we have a very odd and sometimes evil sense of humor...

Yes, I have to agree about yelling part because, my boyfriend's Grandmother is one of the terrible yellers. Because she thinks she is better than everyone with her cooking and shit. She have no patience nor having any common sense toward people's skills or not understanding why she is yelling for no apparent reason.

@Johnny: I never find any of the cooking shows boring on my part. xD Because, I always enjoyed watching them cooking the food, desserts etc.

Demonskid 07-29-2010 03:46 PM

I hate cooking shows D= they make me hungry

Flaria 07-29-2010 03:48 PM

Not for me, they are educating for me when I watch them cooked the food or baking the pastry.
