Did you get it from a suspicious torrent?

mdom 09-23-2018 08:30 PM

No, from an MIT student

Biomecha 09-23-2018 08:43 PM

Maybe they were suspicious. Or needed an experiment.

mdom 09-23-2018 09:23 PM

D: I knew it! A fucked up experiment!!!

Biomecha 09-23-2018 11:52 PM

Have any Soviets had access to your rectum?

You say that like MIT students aren't suspicious.

...*wheeze*

.......my uni has a thing against MIT

mdom 09-24-2018 10:28 AM

But why! That guy from RENT was from MIT (great references, I know)

Espy 09-24-2018 02:15 PM

Beeecause a lot of them are pompous uppity fucks.

mdom 09-24-2018 03:16 PM

If I went to any Ivy league uni I'd be one of those probably

Espy 09-24-2018 10:03 PM

Fortunately for me, Carnegie Mellon’s /not actually Ivy League/.

mdom 09-25-2018 12:15 AM

Carnegie Mellon is prestigious though. I say that because I know it despite not... living there or anything xD

Espy 09-25-2018 04:47 AM

Yeaaaah... that prestige is a bit of a problem for me. Bad mindsets and all.

mdom 09-25-2018 10:50 AM

I see, there must be a ton of pressure...

Espy 09-25-2018 11:13 AM

Mhh. That, sure. But the main problem I have right now is, coming from that sort of environment, it’s too easy for me to treat the state school I’m currently at with contempt. Underestimating this school, and/or overestimating my own abilities, is how I ended up really fucking up my first semester here.

mdom 09-25-2018 05:22 PM

Ah, I see.
Here the difference is real though.
Like when I was at a mental hospital I met a dude who was studying at a good university, but he had to stop due to the psychosis and stuff. Then he tried a semester at a paid college (it's the opposite here, somehow) and he was basically teaching his colleagues. I mean sure there are good paid colleges in Brazil, but they're not the majority.

Biomecha 09-26-2018 02:27 AM

Is that why one of your friends chose to go to Rice near here?
