havarti is a soft mellow cow cheese that spreads<3<3 if you warm it up just a bit you can put it on toast~

I wouldn't say it was sharp in the way cheddar can be. But it has a mild tanginess to it, and still quite flavorful and nutty in a way that would work fish.

No clue. I don't even remember why we'd buy pepper jack, but apparently it's my mom's favorite now.

I still prefer very aged cheddar, or specialty hard cheeses. Or parmesan.
