hi love, how are you?

DarkForbidden-Love 10-13-2011 05:57 PM

Hi choco, I'm fine, I guess. *Grey storm clouds appear* I am lacking in enthusiasm though and my shrink think I'm become depressed again. What about you, Choco?

littl3chocobo 10-13-2011 06:02 PM

anything i can do to help? i don't want you to be sad

eh, i m not really sure now is a fair time to talk about it

DarkForbidden-Love 10-13-2011 06:04 PM

It is mental problem choco, I can't really fix it.

And I'm here to listen, talking about problems might help and it would keep my mind off of my mental physic.

littl3chocobo 10-13-2011 06:12 PM

i did not say 'fix' it i just asked if i can do something so that it makes less of an impact over your current mood, you know like a distraction

it's the same old bitching from before though and technically it's resolved in that nothing has changed other than now she /knows/ i am unhappy and i know that she isn't lazy but is simply inconsiderate and something of a bitch

Moonless Midnight 10-13-2011 06:14 PM

Afternoon choco ^_^ Love the new outfit. How ya doing?

littl3chocobo 10-13-2011 06:17 PM

hullo, i bet yo do we match^^ been better but have been worse too, you?

DarkForbidden-Love 10-13-2011 06:23 PM

I know what person and misunderstanding you are talking about.

And I'm sorry for logging out, Tris hadn't saved me and after you post we had dinner. :(

Moonless Midnight 10-13-2011 06:24 PM

@Choco: I'm doing great ^_^ Had a wicked drawing day today in my figure drawing class (wich means I got a few good drawings) and I took a nap when I got home, plus I got my Cintiq pen when I just ordered yesterday night, AND I bought a whisper wings ^_^

And yeah, our avi's do match in an opposite sort of way. Your light to my dark.

littl3chocobo 10-13-2011 06:28 PM

it's ok sweetie, i have gone /hours/ without realizing a post i wrote did not go through and i was being waited on to reply

sounds wonderful^^ good day for you huh?

Moonless Midnight 10-13-2011 06:32 PM

@Choco: Yup ^_^ btw how come your day wasn't so good? If you don't mind my asking that is.

DarkForbidden-Love 10-13-2011 06:37 PM

Not hours yet, Choco. Just minutes up to half an hour.

littl3chocobo 10-13-2011 06:40 PM

haha, then /you/ can be saved still, i've pasted 'hours' more than once hahahaha

someone gave me bad art and i was unhappy and when i finally brought it up i was told it was all my fault that the art was bad and i should have known not to have expected anything better. it was stupid and i feel like reporting her for scamming

Moonless Midnight 10-13-2011 06:44 PM

@Choco: O-o What. The. Hell?! How is the bad art YOUR fault. You mearly commissioned the person. It's totally the artist's fault if the art is bad quality. The only thing a commissioner may be at fault at is not giving a clear idea of what they want, but the art quality wouldn't lack because of that.

I also doubt you gave the person any lack of info too >.>

@Dark: Whoopsy, forgot to say hello to you ^^" So rude of me really. How ya doing?

littl3chocobo 10-13-2011 06:45 PM

would you like the conversation?

DarkForbidden-Love 10-13-2011 06:52 PM

Hi, Moonless. Let me say I feel like a fruitfly and leave it at that.

The crys person did what? Choco, you should report her, if you don't want to figure out how exactly she broke the rules just link me to the Rules of Conversation from Crys and I'll tell you what rules they broke.

And there was /never/ any hope for me.

Moonless Midnight 10-13-2011 06:57 PM

@Choco: Sure, cause that 'artist' is ticking me off from what you've said.
@Dark: A fruit fly??

littl3chocobo 10-13-2011 06:58 PM

she broke no posted rule she had 6 days before she exeeded the time limit for art but she gave misleading information about what was sold and took several weeks and several times of me asking before she even started and even then she gave art that was /not/ acceptable by any measure, i am wondering if i can find a mod who was hired after i left to be impartial

DarkForbidden-Love 10-13-2011 06:59 PM

Fruit fly is correct. The best way to kill them is with a sweet wine. They drink, get drunk and then drown themselves. As some people say they die and everyone else is happy.

And I'm sure there is at least one mod who is impartial or will help you in accordence to the rules.

littl3chocobo 10-13-2011 07:01 PM

remind me not to let you get drunk then

the '~' is the reply cross over, this is the post in question; http://crysandrea.com/topic/view/10495/1780#2150023 i was given a wait time of a few days

i asked two weeks and three weeks in after my art. seven days ago she opened a freebie art thread so when i found out it was her i asked about the art again and was given a very rushed doodle within an hour or so

littl3chocobo said:
i really, really do not like to complain but this has been weighing quite heavily on me. the art you made was, very low quality, i was exceedingly upset when i received it. it is very low quality, there are sketch marks all over and it is spotty and looks distinctly unfinished, there is also a very large water-mark on it, this is very lazy art. i have talked to several people i know and even shown the image to a few and every last person has told me the same thing, i have been badly cheated by you. i did not get what i paid for and i was shown no respect at all as a customer. people i have talked to have said that that i should either get a refund or a re-do two people have even said hat because you were nearly a month late i should not have had to pay at all(both of whom are shop artists like myself) my own personal stand is if the customer is not happy then the transaction is void and the art /must/ be redone or reimbursed or if it is time that is the matter given extra effort as a way of appreciation for their patience.

you are not me however so i do not know your personal beliefs on the subject but i do know that no shop should ever treat a customer the way you have treated me and though it pains me to speak this way to you i feel that i must say it even if the effort comes to nothing.
~~

You told me not to finish the other half and take the payment, so obviously you are not getting what you paid for. But you did ask for a sketch and that is what I provided. Some days my sketches are cleaner, but overall they are still very sketchy. If you look to the post you made in my shop, it says that you wanted a small image. So my standard watermark is going to look bigger by comparison, but it is always going to be there on images that were not commissioned in real money. I'm sorry you are so disappointed. I'll start up a trade and refund you your items, if that will make you feel better.

However I can not help getting sick and having school, so you'll have to forgive me that I did not jump to finish a virtual currency commission when I had other pressing things to take my time. You should consider that this is essentially free art you're getting. I feel that you should have said something at the time I was working if you are that unhappy with it.

oh, and she did not send a trade and got right offline after sending it^^:

DarkForbidden-Love 10-13-2011 07:14 PM

She was trying to avoid an accident that would give her thread a bad ring to it. Shame on her. And yes that was a normal sketch but a paid for sketch is different. The watermark can be shrunck to fit the image and it takes very little time or effort to edit. And as much as I hate saying this, wait a few days for the trade if it doesn't happen then you cannot be challenged for complaining. If you complain immediatly someone will come to her rescue with some escuse, a longer time frame gets rid of that saftly blanket.

Moonless Midnight 10-13-2011 07:17 PM

@Dark: Ah I see XD I didn't know you could kill em that way.

@Choco: O-o Dude, when you show examples they HAVE to look like that. I had a dissatisfied customer cause I drew it when I was tired and I gave them a freebie of what they wanted as an appology >.>

What that art shop owner did is not right at all. You're well within your rights to complain about it. If she had sketchy AND neat sketches she should have stated so in her shop and post different prices for both. And the watermark.... was the person too lasy to shrink it or what? I mean I'm assuming they're using illustrator or photoshop wich in that case it's easy to re-size things >.>

littl3chocobo 10-13-2011 07:20 PM

i don't want the items though i want her to be honest, she can keep the stuff it's the whole thing with her saying something then /not/ doing it, it's lying and it bothers me

DarkForbidden-Love 10-13-2011 07:22 PM

Any photo editing program even the first version of Paint has something that will resize a picture.

And the price for messy pictures should be halved or more acording to my files from various artist.

Moonless Midnight 10-13-2011 07:24 PM

@Choco: Yeah >.> Lying to your customers isn't a good thing

@Dark: That's true

Wicked 10-13-2011 07:25 PM

I've been lurking (Sorry.)
And while I don't know that particular sites rules I will say that if you have it in writing that she was going to refund those items then one would think she's obligated to do so.

Edit: I see your not worried about the items so much as the principal of the matter.

littl3chocobo 10-13-2011 07:28 PM

i've been a shop artist sind 2007 i'm touchy^^:

Moonless Midnight 10-13-2011 07:28 PM

lol, you should talk more than lurking Wicked. And yeah, the principal of this the thing is quite important.

@Choco: lol I don't really call that being touchy

Wicked 10-13-2011 07:31 PM

I've been lurky lately. *scratches head*

DarkForbidden-Love 10-13-2011 07:31 PM

And it is alright to be touchy. I've been an art appreciator forever and I like people who keep their word unless something had made it impossible to do so. Like if the shop artist had died.

*Pulls Wicked out of Lurkdom.* And now you are here.

Moonless Midnight 10-13-2011 07:33 PM

@Wicked: lol how come?

@Dark: Yup, I totally agree with you. It's fine if the artist is busy with school work (especially if they're in college/university), or sick, or dropped dead, or had important family matters. I mean we all have lives to live. But they should tell you before hand.

Wicked 10-13-2011 07:36 PM

HA!! I have no idea why but the "if they died" made me laugh.
Dark says the only excuse is DEATH.

This is why I've yet to do work for commissions.
I'm aware of how much of a flake I can be.

Still, I've toyed with the thought of opening on of those insanely low priced shops.
Something like 100 aurum. Ugh but then I'd have to post samples and have some consistency in styles and blah! So.. nope.

Lost_Ninja9213 10-13-2011 07:40 PM

yeah i get how people are busy, but at least she could have said something then taken more care with it. I'm still trying to figure out what to do for one of mine, and its taking forever, but the person knows. (right Wicked? o.O)

littl3chocobo 10-13-2011 07:41 PM

what?! love should know better, death is no excuse! when i die they had better tape the pen to my corpse

DarkForbidden-Love 10-13-2011 07:41 PM

Yes, the only excuse is death. :P Not really just my first though. KK actuall likes being sick because she has more time for commisions.

And one does not need consistent style to open an art shop. Abstract art is easiest.

Don't worry Choco, I'll make sure you have your pen even in death. :D

littl3chocobo 10-13-2011 07:43 PM

*holds up tape* yush!

DarkForbidden-Love 10-13-2011 07:47 PM

*Has super glue and tape with several pens and pencils* Now you never will run out. *Tries to glue and tape them to choco's hands*

Wicked 10-13-2011 07:49 PM

So what then I would just post random samples and say you get what you get?
I mean if it's cheap I guess that's okay?

I have to finish up a few other things I'm working on before I would even think about it.

littl3chocobo 10-13-2011 07:50 PM

dglhsgod;aaso igjoadis odfosao;aoagoz oi agao[s-qwq ewf!! *tries typing with utencil covered hands*
