Eventually I might look into it. But I'm honestly not much for the fashionista retro/vintage research.
XD
I mean...I really have no real use for the knowledge of popular fashions in that era.

littl3chocobo 01-25-2017 09:53 PM

not even for better avi-making or self-satisfaction?

Kaderin Triste 01-25-2017 09:54 PM

I generally don't make era-specific avis. And researching useless things seldom leads to self-satisfaction.
Lol

littl3chocobo 01-25-2017 09:58 PM

you and i are very different people XD i take great personal joy in learning things and find more satisfaction in knowing than i can express with words alone

Kaderin Triste 01-25-2017 10:00 PM

If it's something I really enjoy or information that I can use, I like researching.
But my sister is more likely to be interested in fashion than I am.

littl3chocobo 01-25-2017 10:03 PM

it's still not the same X''D only learning practical things is like only eating so you dont starve. i am a gourmand of knowledge and ANY useful learning is good to me(and even the occasional junkfood information is pretty nice)

Kaderin Triste 01-25-2017 10:05 PM

Well...I never specifically said that I only research practical things.
But I do only research things that I find interesting.
And fashion does not interest me.

Man this thread moves really fast!
Umm I'll try to share it here, hold on.

you have changed your stance but even so my comments are still valid X'''D

hrrrm, i swear i know that hat... what site is this, again?

Kaderin Triste 01-25-2017 10:11 PM

Have I changed my stance? I don't think so.

Potironette 01-25-2017 10:17 PM

I think it's cool that that dress can be transparent, but I haven't bought it because of the belt.

That's a cute beanie!

littl3chocobo 01-25-2017 10:28 PM

well before your reasons were that you did not care to learn something that you could not use, now you are saying you dont want to learn it because it is not interesting XD

XD galla loves the belt tho' and galla is the scary boss who can beat up anyone who dares challenge his fashion sense!

littl3chocobo 01-25-2017 10:39 PM

also, what the heck is a tilt monster?

Kaderin Triste 01-25-2017 10:41 PM

And both statements are equally true. I did not change my stance. I have simply given a secondary reason for not studying something.

Potironette 01-25-2017 10:42 PM

Scary @_@. Too bad I don't really use belt stuffs D:

https://lh4.ggpht.com/Q2NnPknm9nMFd2...c067oe2RQ=h310
I dunno

littl3chocobo 01-25-2017 10:48 PM

i dont either XD i just know some dude was talking about how he kept getting tilted when something did not go his way then kept saying he did not want to become a tilt monster X''D i feel so old!

Potironette 01-25-2017 10:52 PM

Ohh tilted. Someone told me that "tilted" was a way to describe how when something bad happens, the person gets frustrated (really frustrated). And people don't like that because frustration makes stuff harder (like playing a racing game --> you lose and get mad (tilted) --> you don't want to be tilted because your playing's going to be affected).

littl3chocobo 01-25-2017 10:55 PM

oh, ok, that makes sense XD

i feel super hella old now XD i remember when that used to be 'twisted' and even 'getting bent up' hahahaha

Potironette 01-25-2017 11:02 PM

Oh wow, there was a word for it before too xD. I didn't actually know tilted was a thing until a week or three ago.

littl3chocobo 01-25-2017 11:05 PM

i am on the cutting edge of uninformed then? X''D

Kaderin Triste 01-25-2017 11:08 PM

Ugh. New slang. I am so glad none of my friends are young or "trendy" enough to keep up with it because it's getting impossible to keep up.

littl3chocobo 01-25-2017 11:10 PM

sadly i feel the same even though i know it really is not so hahaha, when i was a kid i just instinctively picked everything up as it came, hahaha

Potironette 01-25-2017 11:17 PM

Lol xD. Being a kid I don't really use any slang (as far as I can tell). But I'm amused when people around me use it--slang sounds funny

hrrrm, i swear i know that hat... what site is this, again?

The site is Caedon. :3

Kaderin Triste 01-25-2017 11:31 PM

Honestly, even as a kid, I hated most of the slang.

Moonshadow 01-25-2017 11:46 PM

I hate slang! One of the worst ever is: bae
ugh!

Potironette 01-26-2017 12:38 AM

Bae. I wouldn't say it because I find it cringe worthy but it's cute when other people say it xD

Moonshadow 01-26-2017 12:50 AM

I have a friend that uses it and I joked that I could put it in a sentence. I can't remember but the sentence was pretty funny and he took it well hahaha

Kaderin Triste 01-26-2017 12:52 AM

Oh gosh... Bae is definitely gag-worthy in my book.

littl3chocobo 01-26-2017 09:42 AM

i also have a bae friend though they are big in korean pop music soooo i think it's more of going along with the territory than just liking a weird bastardization of a word XD

Kaderin Triste 01-26-2017 01:16 PM

Actually, I was informed once that "bae" is supposed to stand for "before all else" or some shit like that. So like calling someone bae means that they are more important to you than everyone else I guess?
Either way, still gag-worthy.

Anyone ever calls me bae, they're getting punched.

littl3chocobo 01-26-2017 02:01 PM

that is not even close to what i have heard and seen it used as. it's like 'baby' but in a boyfriend/girlfriend kind of way XD

Glitch 01-26-2017 02:10 PM

Ya around here it is implied to be short for "baby" and only used on people you love.

I like the definition of it meaning poop though. It makes me laugh when people call each other Bae and you think about poop.

Kaderin Triste 01-26-2017 02:10 PM

Idk...all these cutsey couples in "love" probably do mean it in that way because they get so wrapped up in each other that they ignore everyone else...
>.>

But yeah....I've pretty much only heard it used as an alt word for babe/bf/gf.

And in that case...I really don't have to worry about ever being called bae...
<.<

littl3chocobo 01-26-2017 02:15 PM

X''D

so i made a cute base but it is sooooooooo styryotypical and sexist as to be kind of shameful but it is so tiny as well as to make more subtle neuances unreasonable without making it clear that these are not anime girl knockoffs

Potironette 01-26-2017 04:11 PM

Lol XD.

How can bases be stereotypical and sexist :o ? Scratch that, I guess they can when I think about it. I want to see though XD

Kaderin Triste 01-26-2017 04:40 PM

I agree. I wanna see the base too!

littl3chocobo 01-26-2017 10:45 PM

http://sta.sh/01m8cjgpijyz

yer, big boobs, tiny waists and pencil limbs are about the standard for it XD with no deviations. that is hella sexist 'cos it implies heavily that to be a woman you must conform to what basically amounts to being an underfed child with plasticine tatahs

Kaderin Triste 01-26-2017 11:08 PM

Sadly, that pretty much looks like what you'd find as a base on any given avatar site...
>.>

But I am impressed with your skill!

littl3chocobo 01-26-2017 11:31 PM

i knoooow X''D

thanks, i have a couple finished but they are nothing too impressive just kimonos XD
