Meep. I kind of fell out of posting in places, post-event.
Time for me to get back to it, huh? Lol

littl3chocobo 01-10-2017 12:58 AM

Kaderin Triste 01-10-2017 01:04 AM

Hope you feel better soon.

*curls up in front of the fireplace*

littl3chocobo 01-10-2017 04:39 PM

so, either of you have any fun plans for this week?

Kaderin Triste 01-10-2017 07:05 PM

Uh...well work, trying to clean my house, working on a resume and job applications, and trying to make progress on an over-due birthday present and a green ombre baby blanket (to put in Etsy).

Glitch 01-10-2017 07:10 PM

I'm going to go see the baby tomorrow ^.^ And pick a date that we're going to have the baby >3>

And uhm.

pixeling

Kaderin Triste 01-10-2017 07:15 PM

Yay baby!
Maybe I should make a baby present packacke for Glitch...
*cough* Um...do you know what gender it is? Or did/do you want it to be a surprise?

Glitch 01-10-2017 08:02 PM

It is a girl!

Kaderin Triste 01-10-2017 08:04 PM

Yay! That's awesome!

littl3chocobo 01-10-2017 08:59 PM

what do you mean, pick a date??? i thought babies came whenever they were ready come hell or high waters? XD

Kaderin Triste 01-10-2017 09:00 PM

I'm assuming she's going to have a C-section instead of natural birth so they can pick a day for the "birth". Although, babies can be unpredictable and there's still a chance that she could go into labor prior to the C-section...

littl3chocobo 01-10-2017 09:04 PM

but what if it is not ready yet? i've heard babies can go into 10 months on a pregnancy, isn't it super unsafe to take that chance?

Kaderin Triste 01-10-2017 09:12 PM

I don't think so. Because, barring extreme cases, the baby should be fully developed by approx 9 months so it shouldn't be harmful to remove it.
But I am not and never will be either a doctor or a mother, so I am not a reliable source of baby information...

littl3chocobo 01-10-2017 09:15 PM

fair enough X''D though to be fair i will never be either of those things, myself and i still would express concerns, hahahaha

Kaderin Triste 01-10-2017 09:21 PM

I mean, it's a fair question/concern...

Glitch 01-10-2017 09:21 PM

They want to induce the baby a weekish early because they don't want to do a c-section and my likelihood of dying is going to be higher than the average woman. So we're going to plan a day but ya she could still decide to surprise everybody! Pregnancies are different when they're high risk, a lot of weird stuff goes on.

Like. I won't be allowed to do any pushing because the pushing could cause my aorta to rupture so they want me to just hang out for a long time and see if she just pops out like magic and if not they are getting hte forceps.

The forceps part really freaks me out.

Kaderin Triste 01-10-2017 09:23 PM

Ohhh...now see, I was wrong.

littl3chocobo 01-10-2017 09:25 PM

like, pull a quarter out of jimmy's throat forecepts? XD do they just wiggle around until they get the head and pull?

Glitch 01-10-2017 09:25 PM

I will say though after 32 weeks the baby is pretty safe to come out, most twins are born about 32 weeks. The last two months are mostly just fine tuning of the lungs and fattening up so babies born right at 32 weeks would need help breathing and to be kept warm for a little bit. For every week you make it after 32nd the baby would need less and less help

Glitch 01-10-2017 09:26 PM

@Cho: I don't know. . . they haven't explained it to me . . . I did look at a picture though and it looks really awful. She'd come out with a squashed face for a day or two >.> The other option is they put a vaccuum on the head and suck the baby out which also sounds horrible!!!

littl3chocobo 01-10-2017 09:27 PM

that is actually really interesting! i did not know any of this

littl3chocobo 01-10-2017 09:28 PM

ok, hear me out XD so i know this is pretty serious but both times i just imagined it cartoon-style and it's pretty hilarious imagining it that way XD

Glitch 01-10-2017 09:29 PM

Ya the illustrations make it look not too bad but when I think about what that would actually look like . . . i just can't imagine

littl3chocobo 01-10-2017 09:31 PM

fair, fair

though i am glad you are not getting a c-cection. i actually know how that is done and it is sooooo messed up x______x i don't envy any woman with thoughts to kids

Glitch 01-10-2017 09:35 PM

I am growing increasingly frightened. I'll either be a total basket case after the appointment tomorrow or feel relieved I don't know.

I was always told because of my heart I'd just have to have a c-section so now being told that they think it is safer to do this no-pushing thing . . . I am not mentally prepared.

Kitarun 01-10-2017 09:53 PM

*curls up on glitch's lap and purrs*
Relax, hon. I'm sure everything will be just fine.
The stress isnt good for the little one.

littl3chocobo 01-10-2017 09:55 PM

i'd be more worried about bleeding x____x or possibly rips in the intestine if you had to do c-section. it's not an easy thing even though it is common

well, can i wish you luck in your consultation at least?

Kitarun 01-10-2017 09:58 PM

My friend did a c-section with her twins... They screwed something up when they closed her back up... Think they glued instead of stitching. She ended up with infection and the muscle still isnt back to normal... The twins turned three in october.
