Needle in spine thing?

And they are probably staring because when they see hiragana they sterotype as Oriental and you probably don't look Oriental.

Demonskid 12-05-2011 05:39 PM

They couldn't see my paper though xD there was a thing of Fake Pointsettia's infront of it.. it was probably my hat =w= it said InuYasha on it.

Still if they could see my paper... its like "What Don't your Grandkids or someone you know study a foreign language?"

DarkForbidden-Love 12-05-2011 05:42 PM

Surprisingly not a lot of Americans know a forign langiage and we are the only country that does no require it to graduate highschool. Though it was probably the hat because even I would stare at that.

foxotanashi 12-05-2011 05:59 PM

Sigh, the only foreign language I am taking is Spanish. That I barely know >.>

Demonskid 12-05-2011 05:59 PM

It coulda been that he was in the military at one point and was stationed over there and hated it too =/

my foster father was stationed over there and he hates it =w=,

I tried some Spanish (due to special circumstances I graduated without the language requiement but had to pick it up in Uni) and I still use some of the grammar even when speaking - or trying to - in another language. I know some French vocab by virtue of reading grocery store products, etc. I ended up taking Swedish for my language in Uni, by awkward chance. There was an accelerated Japanese course but it was full year and I couldnt' afford the junior credits if I wanted to graduate in two years (Swedish and Danish were senior courses, but there was no way I was getting up at 6 to take the bus in the morning for Danish class. Sorry, grandma.)

EDIT: right, sailorette dress. That came from one of the copper alpaca tokens that you can buy with the alpaca coins you get from dungeon and repeateable quests. There is lost city stuff as well as the usual bunk prizes.

A lot of people take language classes because it interests them. You'd think they'd know better then to stare. =/ I mean.. often you hear old folks go "That child is staring, how rude. Does the parents not know how to teach the child staring is bad." xD I heard that sooo many times in restaurants when some one I went with or someone near me had a child who would stare. I'd look around to see what was so interesting then went back to my food. =w=,

That and the old lady threw some sort of fit as well over some cookie crumbs... The people who work in the cafe had just swept the place before the couple sat down. (The people who go in for some procedure, their family gets a coupon for a free Pastry and drink) The old woman had a cookie and some crumbs fell on the floor. after she threw her plate away she saw the crumbs and was like "I didnt do that" and kept repeating it =/ her husband was like "Those where there when we sat down." she was all like "where did they come from"

._. they prolly think I threw my choco chips at them cause I had eaten the same type of cookie...

Anyway I could hear it over my Hiragana lesson that was on my iPod.. which was up full blast.. I wanted to say "WHO CARES ABOUT COOKIE CRUMBS D< SHUT UP!" but.. each time I looked up, the man was staring at me (creep) and I just smiled and went back to attempting to write my Hiragana x.x

That man staring is kind of creepy.

And I only got to take Spanish but I never learned anything besides the alphabet. -_- I wanted to take German, Polish, Japanese, or one of the Native American languages but only Spanish had an open slot.

Demonskid 12-05-2011 09:51 PM

My highschool had Spanish and French =w= since i got bad grades in english I didnt even get the option to take a second language xD

Broken Muse 12-05-2011 10:07 PM

I'm okay at English because creative Writing and English both went towards the same grade and I always got good grades in Writing. Second languages where also madatory both at my elementary/middle school and high school.

Demonskid 12-05-2011 10:36 PM

I failed them due to me sucking at grammar xD

Broken Muse 12-05-2011 10:38 PM

I have a nee-chan who checks my grammer. Plus, I had a Grammer Nazi in 6-8th grade. 3 years of having it almost litterally drilled into my head was a slight help in learning it.

Demonskid 12-05-2011 11:24 PM

xD I don't remember all my teachers for english =w= I hated the class >.>,

Broken Muse 12-05-2011 11:33 PM

I remember them all cause I had a slight vandetta against them. They never called me by the right name so I always would use incorect grammer in their class and pretend to be horrible at it while never scoring less then a A+ on any grammer test. Yep, they hated me and I hated them. :/

Demonskid 12-06-2011 01:17 AM

=w= I barely remember any teachers xD

anyway I am off to bed <3
