I know dem feels. I've been so tired and groggy. Might be the changing season, loneliness, depression, what-have-you. I'm not gonna let it get me down but damn I'm exhausted.

I'm over halfway into season 3 of the Vampire Diaries. I feel like I'm being teased with the whole Damon and Elena thing. WHEN will they finally get together? I've been anticipating this since the first season.

I'm somewhat in the recovery-stage of that sort of thing (apparently, if you want Lawtan depressed, make the month September)

*Hands Ginger gingersnaps*

What about September makes you depressed?

For me it's my birth month, and the fact that summer is over.

Lawtan 10-08-2014 07:37 AM

I thinks it is somewhat seasonal...as well as most negative things over the last 5 years have occurred in September.

The Blood Moon was messing with me today. I kept waking up every couple hours.

*throws a cover over the moon, and then mugs Lawtan for gingersnaps*

I can definitely relate to that with holidays, but I'm starting to realize I have the rest of my life and more holidays to experience. By the time I'm 90 years old, I will probably have every classic Christmas song mesmerized and absolutely dread the mall. I love the Christmas displays though. When I think of the holidays I see me sitting by myself, cross-legged on the floor next to a warm fire in the dark, with hot cocoa or cider, listening to Frank Sinatra's version of Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire. That is about the only way I can find comfort during the holidays, while everyone else I know is having special dinners with their families. It is absolutely the most lonely and depressing time of year.

I had one Christmas Eve like that, Ginger. It was honestly my favorite Christmas Eve. Sad that I can't really talk my family into doing it again (as it was an accident in the first place).

Anywho, I've been mugged by a Tam!

Blood moon? Hmm....maybe that is why I felt like a sackload of crap a day or two ago. Or allergies. Allergies are usually the answer.

I used to feel lonely and depressed during the holidays. Now I just watch movies, play with dolls, tell God thank You that I don't have a stack of useless gifts to return at Christmas time. ...That's when I even notice that it's supposed to be a holiday at all. If I haven't made sure I'm stocked up, then I whine about the long weekend. LOL

I like the holidays, mostly because it gives me an excuse to shop for my family/friends. I don't have to feel guilty for shopping for silly little things that I think my friends/family would like during that time of the year.

You're pretty good at present giving, and when you do guess wrong, you're usually happy to be boomarang gifted! XD

I like gift giving too, but not as a thing that I MUST do at a certain time. Most my gifts go out all along the year.

Tam -- Should I be worried that you now seem to have, er, pages?

Lawtan 10-10-2014 04:43 PM

O.O

We have an Espy! \o/

*Gives books, soft lighting, earbuds, music player, and bed*

Espy 10-10-2014 07:28 PM

o.o Thanks. Honestly just what I need right now.
