well its usually Nothing in new york as well. But for whatever reason it was enough to close the schools. I'm assuming that its because of the wind and that its the first snow fall of the year, and that they weren't prepared and didn't salt and stuff. cause we had 60 degree weather on Saturday ^^;;
seriously... its really weird that the schools closed, I'm used to school still being open in worse blizzards than this one. |
Maybe there was a flash freeze so the roads are icy?
I mean, if it was warm, then suddenly got cold enough for the snow to stick, it could have started melting then turned to black ice. |
