Hi all!
*ninja poofs back out*

Ginger 09-29-2014 10:55 PM

Very true... I should remind myself of this whenever I'm having a bad day *hugs back*

I've gained about 25 lbs this past year. I'll be working hard to lose them and consume calories that are healthier and more filling. More tea and water is a huge goal of mine.

I've had a big weight gain over the past couple years, but since I used to be UNDERweight, I'm not too bothered. Except that the weight tends to appear on the belly. *pokes it* I'm told that hitting forty is likely the cause of my growth, as I didn't change my eating or (lack of) exercise habits.

Ginger 09-30-2014 06:29 PM

*hugs Lawtan twice for just noticing his post* :)

Ah yes... it gets worse with age. The body gets tired. All the more motivation to start getting healthy again, but Netflix seems to be more important lol...

There's a new study out. Women who are overweight live longer.

Than the men who point it out to them.:p-grin:

But seriously. I'd like to work the belly down a bit, if I could find someone to walk with, but otherwise I like the weight. Since it happened I'm not freezing all the time, I take heat slightly better, and my blood sugar's evened out more than it's been in years.

Wish I could get additional warmth with my weight... but I have noticed that I've been losing size, at least in my belly area. I've been overweight for years, and at one point was dropping weight because I was walking everywhere... Then Mom got a newer car and I inherited the LHS, and that was that...

Ginger 10-02-2014 01:14 AM

Tam - Yeah all of that makes sense. I've noticed that with myself as well. Easier to retain body heat, which is really nice.

Autobot - That must be a good thing though, right? I love losing weight. At one point a few years ago I weighed 109 lbs. I really liked that weight. It actually gave me confidence wearing a two piece bathing suit. Being 5'2" that is considered a healthy weight, but in the lower scale. I now weigh a staggering 140 lbs, nearly. I honestly got depressed and let myself go with my eating habits for a while, but now I'm trying to get back on track with walking and consuming less, but healthier calories than usual.

Tam I am 10-02-2014 05:14 PM

I weigh nearly two hundred pounds, I think. But my healthy base weight, according to a doctor, is 155. I'm one of those people who actually DOES have big bones, which add their own weight. I was skinny and cold at 140.

Also, for lunch I ate noodles made from seaweed. I liked 'em. I hope they like me.

Ginger 10-02-2014 07:40 PM

I forgot that bone mass also plays a part in weight. I think I'm medium-framed.

Those noodles you ate for lunch are making me hungry. Today is my 5th anniversary with my boyfriend. It's unreal that ee've been together since high school. He's in North Dakota right now but he's going to order me a pizza of my choice C: I wish here was here to enjoy it with me. I won't get to see him for another 4 weeks at least.

Den 10-02-2014 09:19 PM

I honestly couldn't tell you if I have a bigger frame or not, I just know I don't outwardly look as heavy as I am... Granted, I have no idea how much I actually weigh, because it's been a few years since I got on a scale.

Tam I am 10-03-2014 01:21 PM

LOL It's been a few years for me, too. But I know what I weighed before when I was padded.

Also, the tasty seaweed noodles didn't like me. My gall bladder took one look at them and went, "NOPE!"

Ginger 10-03-2014 06:44 PM

Yuck! Just recently, I have no idea what the hell I ate, but never again. >.>

Tam I am 10-03-2014 09:24 PM

But, if you don't know what it was, how can you never again?

Also, I was freezing, but now my avatar is warmly dressed, so I'm okay. Am I the only one that dresses up the dolls too when it's me that's cold?

Ginger 10-04-2014 02:00 AM

Crap, I think it was the Starbucks on an empty stomach. LOL.

I sometimes dress my avatar according to weather as well.

Tam I am 10-04-2014 05:56 PM

Ohhhh. I avoid Starbucks always. LOL
