trystan830 11-05-2016 07:29 PM

and what actually is that, tam?

Tam I am 11-06-2016 06:28 PM

Ohh. They do a tree and stuff. With cobwebs and skulls on it. And they invite the family for a meal.

Lawtan 11-06-2016 08:26 PM

*Adds to ideas...like having a long-living tree as an outdoor tree for Christmas and all instead pf cutting down trees every year...maybe a Holly Tree - see modified Holly Bush - would work...but you'd have to make sure kids wouldn't eat the berries.

trystan830 11-06-2016 09:24 PM

heh that sounds awesome, Tam

Tam I am 11-07-2016 03:46 PM

XD

Law, now I want Runa. Why? Because it's made from the leaves of an edible, and caffeinated, holly bush.

Lawtan 11-08-2016 09:56 AM

Well, that sounds like a giving tree, indeed. xD

...
*Watches a series of wildfires in nearby counties.
Alright, who ordered the three months of no rain? *mumbles about those wacky teens like an old person.

(Not worried - it's not an uncontrollable fire at the moment, but according to some news, it seems some folk are determined to burn America down before tomorrow) xD

Tam I am 11-08-2016 10:17 PM

Giving tree. Guyusa is nearly good enough! It's gotten my diabetic brother's blood sugar in control.

...They trying to outdo our Fort MacMurry thing?

Lawtan 11-09-2016 03:22 AM

I don't know. Probably not - probably just my state being idiots and ignoring the current ban on open fires.

Tam I am 11-09-2016 10:12 PM

Yeah. I was just trying to be funny. *hug*

Lawtan 11-15-2016 09:10 PM

...
*Dusts off Library*
Well...the fires haven't burned books...

For understanding the effect media has on people

For enjoyment and fun and warm fuzzies

Tam I am 11-16-2016 02:46 PM

Yay for safe books. Er, but I think I made the shelf hyper by feeding it a whole cake.

I kind of envy people who can figure out that sort of game. I think I'm too mentally lazy. But then, I couldn't even get through that little puzzle game that you sad was fun and easy, Law.

Lawtan 11-16-2016 07:29 PM

Oh...um...I think you need Unity (it's a free gaming engine)
You use the arrow keys, and z...
I said it gave you the warm fuzzies, not that it was easy.

Tam I am 11-17-2016 11:53 PM

No, I know, this wasn't the one you said was easy. It was the one with the house inside the cage.

*hug*

Today, I fought three MMO battles, ran errands, went to the chiropractor, and went to the grocery store a mile away.

All on foot. XD

Edit: Another warm fuzzies thing! People talk about their pets.

Lawtan 11-19-2016 10:44 AM

*coos at all the animals, making my folk say "never do that again"*

Hmm...we've had a bearded dragon, Oscars, horses, cared for turtles, finches, a bat, and starlings...a bunny, a mouse, a hedgehog, cats, dogs, another lizard, guppies...
Many of those were wild and we let go after a year max. They or their families stick around, as this is the main "safe" area for them.

Tohopekaliga 11-19-2016 10:49 AM

:0 that's a lot of different animals, Law.

Awww. We never got lizards, horses, turtles, hedgies, or bats when I was on the farm, or those kinds of fish (had a fat goldfish), but we used to keep critters from the pond. One little damselfly nymph got to where he recognized me through the glass of his Cheese Wiz jar and would climb his plant to beg for food. And there was a tree swallow who we never kept inside or caught, but HE chose us. My little sisters could walk up and pet him as he sat in their reach. And then there was the mother bufflehead who thought that the place to find lost babies was with us...

XD yay, fellow critter person.

Lawtan 11-19-2016 07:26 PM

Oh, we have house wrens...they love the barn and just yesterday decided they wanted to move into the house!
xD

*hugs*

Glitch 11-19-2016 07:33 PM

LMBO This tree swallow tried to move in with us, too! Right into the people part of the house. And he sat there and TALKED to us till we gave him a bird box right by the house after we chased him out.

Armed and dangerous!

Tohopekaliga 11-19-2016 07:45 PM

:0 ♫ Be Prepared! ♫

Den 11-20-2016 12:52 AM

hehehe, thank you, TV, for showing me this with the critter's name... so I could look up the video.

Tohopekaliga 11-20-2016 12:53 AM

"I'm an independent horse and I ain't need no opposable thumbs"?

An impressive trick, at least.

Lawtan 11-20-2016 12:20 PM

One of our horses does that...
So we added a lock to the latch...
She chewed through the lock...
So we made a lock that can't really be chewed through...
She broke that lock...
Now we tie up an elastic chord that smacks her in the nose, a lock with hard-to-chew-through bits, and the latch. She stays in, now.

mdom 11-20-2016 02:10 PM

Lawtan gurrl, tell me the diet you're in because you look so good :P

My shoulder feels a bit better after some sessions of physical therapy. There's more to come though. More shocking therapy, hehehe.

Lawtan 11-20-2016 02:37 PM

*Blushes*
Ohh...I just gave all the food to those who needed it more...for years...

Tam I am 11-20-2016 02:41 PM

*ready for food fight rumblings!*

Smoley hokes, Law, that's a determined critter! Is it the grey/white mare you showed me in the picture?

Shocking therapy? *goes after Mdon with jumper cables*

Den, I love your avatar! And slightly envy the blanket. LOL

mdom 11-20-2016 02:46 PM

It's something like that. Tam xDD
cables attached to my shoulder and then bzzzz! And I'll say 'it's ok, strong enough' or 'charge it up!!!!'

Tam I am 11-20-2016 02:59 PM

Wo-ow. And that really helps?

mdom 11-20-2016 03:29 PM

Not really jumper cables, but cables xD

Yes, it's the kind of physical therapy my doc uses. There's also short waves or sth like that |D I just lay down and the machine does the work.

Tam I am 11-20-2016 04:03 PM

Makes my shoulder twitch to think of it. LOL

Lawtan 11-20-2016 04:09 PM

Tam, indeed. She's not the healthiest (thyroid issue) but yeah...

Oh, is it part of physical therapy? I remember something like that for my legs once.

mdom 11-20-2016 04:28 PM

Yeah, I'm not doing exercises, just being shocked on the shoulder xD
I'm not admitting to masochism, but I kinda like it.

Tam I am 11-20-2016 04:46 PM

Nutty horse.

Well, I guess getting zapped beats hurting?

Ugh. I'm in pain. The dryer next door is SQUEALING loudly.

mdom 11-20-2016 04:50 PM

It's a good pain rather than a bad shoulder pain xD

Ahh will it take long to finish the cycle?

Tam I am 11-20-2016 04:54 PM

I understand. Good pain is like when you bowl for the first time in a long time, and the next day you're reminded constantly that you have butt muscles.

It's been going for awhile, but I can't remember how long. Whole cycle takes an hour.

mdom 11-20-2016 05:05 PM

xD that's also a bad pain for me.

Ah, it's not much. My sister's dryer takes foreverrrrr

Tam I am 11-20-2016 05:36 PM

LOL I guess it's not bad for me because I grew up working hard, and so hardly notice the aches of worked muscles anymore.

Den 11-20-2016 09:39 PM

This week is going to be a busy one for me. I've a couple of appointments, then I drive up to Northern Iowa... and then I have to start planning what to pack for my trip next month!

Tam I am 11-20-2016 09:53 PM

I just had my busy week. Now I want a lazy one to weather Hurricane Flo in peace.

Ugh. Another breadstach.
