I think I will keep the bell for when I get a catgirl of my very own.

Mrs Jesse Jay 06-05-2011 01:11 PM

I really need to get an office job. A 9-5 sit down job where I don't deal with customers who think they're better than me just cause I work at a gas station.

Lunaryon 06-05-2011 01:12 PM

That sounds like it sucks. I'm normally nice to Gas Station peoples... I know what's it like to be bullied and stuff like that.

Taiania 06-05-2011 01:14 PM

S'ok Batty ^_^

Lol stalking is just more difficult with bells.

Mrs Jesse Jay 06-05-2011 01:14 PM

People are always coming in and acting all pissy about how I won't just turn on the pump so they can get their gas and then come in and pay. Its a city wide thing that all customers are required to prepay for their gas. Either with their card at the pump, or with cash or check inside. They come in and get mad at me then tell me that there should be a sign so that they're not looking like idiots pushing buttons. I'm just like, "You look like an even bigger idiot for not seeing the sign that is already there. Its freaking yellow!"

Lunaryon 06-05-2011 01:16 PM

If it's a city wide ordinance, then they have no reason to get annoyed at you.

Taiania 06-05-2011 01:18 PM

Customers are often idiots .

Serra Britt 06-05-2011 01:19 PM

More often than not unfortunately :(

Lunaryon 06-05-2011 01:20 PM

Sorry that you have to deal with people like that. You should go and put up your own signs on all of the pumps that state that they have to prepay.

Mrs Jesse Jay 06-05-2011 01:21 PM

Exactly! Its not like I'm the one who makes the rules! Same goes with the prices on stuff. Everyone yells at me like its my fault for jacking up the prices when I have absolutely nothing to do with it. All I do is ring it up. You're the idiot coming into a convenience store to buy your candy bars when Walmart has them for 50 cents a piece.

I keep thinking that I will do that. But every time I start thinking about putting dirty names and telling them how dumb they really are and decide to just let it be. I need my job, unfortunately.

Lunaryon 06-05-2011 01:22 PM

Ohh... Don't even get me started on Walmart. What ever you do, don't work there.

Mrs Jesse Jay 06-05-2011 01:24 PM

No, I'd never work there. But shopping there is easy and at least cheaper than going into a gas station for stuff. I'm really wanting to get an office job or write a great novel and be famous and rich....Just have to actually write it, huh? >.<

Lunaryon 06-05-2011 01:26 PM

the writing part is the hard part. That I know. I'm trying to write a novel... But it's not exactly working as well as I would like.

Taiania 06-05-2011 01:28 PM

I've written a few but never tried to get them published. They're not good enough yet.

Mrs Jesse Jay 06-05-2011 01:28 PM

It seems like every time that I start trying, I get frustrated and quit. Then I lose the inspiration for it and just let it go. I love to write and its really fun for me, but I think I've gotten to the point where its more role playing for me than actually writing a novel.

I had one written out completely and even started contacting publishers who were pretty interested and then for whatever reason, when I sent it to them they could never pull it up and read it. Then I didn't have the money to mail it off to them and let it go...

Serra Britt 06-05-2011 01:30 PM

Wal-Mart used to be a good emplyer. Not anymore, they have gone the same direction every other retail place has gone. It's just terrible what they do to employees nowadays :/
