Kind of reminds me of how I can paint doll faces for other people, but not for myself. Mind you, even the ones I paint for others re nothing special, but I mostly can't even get the eyes even when I'm trying to make one for me.

I've been amusing myself with the thought that another of those cases where an outfit gets so popular that it shows up on more than one game or forum. Over on CS there's a dog dress that looks like it came from the same inspiration as an avatar dress on KofK.

actually, it wouldn't surprise me if the inspiration came from the same place. =)

XD I'm reminded of a time a few years ago when all the downloadable dressup doll sets had variations on the same dress. Or that time on UF where there was a dress that also appeared somewhere else. I remember that someone looked up the RL dress that inspired the UF one.

And of course, with my love of details, it amuses me to have both dresses equipped right now, though I NOPED their lolita bonnets. LOL

I just watched a video of a young man unboxing his first BJD, and he was so happy and so proud of that doll, but I couldn't stop cringing. All her bones showed, and her feet were permanently in the ballerina pose. Just... Yeah. I should stick to my little simple dolls, and the pudgy little avatar here and not be being so blah at other peoples' happy doll times.

I loved the one with the golden lining. I think I still have a screen cap of it.
