You get items from NPCs in each city, and you have to do quests to unlock the next city, so it just takes a while xD but I'll get it in a day or two

Argh, that's frustrating. Anything RIG based would be too much of a deterrent. It's one of the main things that killed the fun with Animal Crossing: PC.
