...Those are exceptions.

mdom 09-13-2018 06:54 PM

I'm sure you'd look fabulous, dahling

...-fidgets uncomfortably-

mdom 09-13-2018 07:14 PM

the winter is coming
except it's full of sequins

Espy 09-13-2018 07:16 PM

That’d ruin winter for me :|

Imagine if snowflakes were sparklier!

Espy 09-13-2018 07:27 PM

Snow is already mostly white, so by “sparklier”, do you mean, actually reflect light, or... are light-emitting...?

mdom 09-13-2018 07:31 PM

Like sequins xD Falling from the sky.

Gallagher 09-13-2018 07:33 PM

white =/= sparkly

being sparklier in this case would probably involve different forms of reflectivity, in the vein that diamonds reflect in a combination of ways, not only one.

Espy 09-13-2018 07:34 PM

...as if snow didn’t give enough sunburns already.

layer of noise, went in and selected swatches of pixels to delete (selected at about 10% so i wasn't doing shades individually) until i was left with a scatter i was happy with, painted it all white, then set to overlay

I'm attempting it but failing. When selecting what to remove, do you mean something like using the magic wand on the noise layer with 10% tolerance? And, paint all white before adding the noise?

mdom 09-13-2018 07:47 PM

Snow gives sunburn?? Why D:
Snow I want to love you don't do this

yeah, i blob on some color in a new layer, add noise (adjust the coverage and scattering to your needs), then go in with a magic wand to select swatches of pixels to delete. continue deleting until happy with your coverage, then trim off everything that won't be within the bounds of the clothing item.

paint to desired color (white is good for sparkles), adjust opacity/layer effects as needed, and done

mdom: the high reflectivity of snow means that when you're out, you get them sun rays just like it's a clear summer day. sunscreen is needed year round to the vulnerable, and highly recommended for everyone.

Espy 09-13-2018 07:51 PM

Also, due to the angle at which snow generally reflects light, you can get sunburns in places you usually don’t get sunburns at.

Gallagher 09-13-2018 07:52 PM

like up under your nose holes

Espy 09-13-2018 08:01 PM

...I was going to say, your chin and neck.
