Yeah it's nice, a bit too little activity right now but during the events things tend to liven up a b it.

It's ok, it just mean I can keep up more. Plus I'm on a site that is slower than this. People are mostly on at night there.

Hmm I'd say yes and no. There are a few big main sites that everybody seems to be on like gaia. And then there are some who are well know but not as big like what ernya was. Then there are some that are up and comming like cae and saph.
But I like sites like this, it kinda reminds me of roli(bc of the abundance of items).

Caedon and Sapherna arent really up and coming tho.
ANd even the bigger ones arent as popular as before right?

Well most of the ernya peeps headed over to cae, it's a lor more active than it was!
And as for gaia well thats cause of the MAJOR inflation!! But the others are getting there. Plus there are SO MANY avie sites that people are all over the plaace.

I just don't like Caedon i feel uncomfortable with the site. Both the community there and how most conversations feels so closed off.

Oh it's gotten better, and there are over 1,000 users now. It's almost at the 2k mark, I'd say that about 20 users are no longer on the site( well one I know for sure got asked to leave).
Like I said a lot of ernya peeps went there.

Same but don't bother it is just inactive and probably will stay so because for Caedon to become attractive to me they would have to revamp almost everything.

I think 2011-2012 was a big year for avi sites, they were everywhereeeee. It was like new ones popping up all the time! But because of that there were so many that opened for nefarious reasons and stole money from people. Lunaesaga for instance. Start up just long enough to get lots of people excited and donating money and then just shut down for no real reason with no explanations given -- it happened a lot. So I think a lot of people kind of got sick of that happening and drifted out of the avatar site loop. I know when Elidiun went down I was heartbroken and I think that was about when I quit coming onto any place like this. Then I tried to get back into Gaia for a bit last year but it's so completely different from how it used to be that it was a short lived endeavor. Then one day I was sitting there and I remembered Trisphee and I wondered how it was doing and so I came to peak and been here every day since! I think more people will come back in a similar fashion. Just have to get the word out!

And i do know that a couple of people may be responsible or at least are being blamed for the sites that shut down for dubious reasons.
And yeah i wish gaia never changed management/CEO
