It wasn't that bad, really. I only got scratched/stabbed a few times by the wire. The intense heat sucked though.

Sei 08-28-2010 04:37 PM

Antigone, I'm good, and you? :3

Johnny, please sure. I must see! o.o!

...and Syric, I can only offer you some of my iced tea and air conditioning! XD

Antigone 08-28-2010 04:38 PM

Sei ::: Good, Just wishing it would cool down outside so I could finish painting.
*Falls over*

Syric 08-28-2010 04:41 PM

Sei, iced tea sounds awesome right about now. I'm enjoying the air conditioning, but that will be short-lived. I've gotta go soon to buy some black powder. I have a reenactment in a couple of weeks (hopefully) and I have no ammo >.<

And with that I hit my 300th post :D

Tooooo cooool.

The word "spork" was adopted into the English lexicon in 1909! I had no idea sporks were that old. :'D

Antigone 08-28-2010 04:42 PM

Johnny ::: Wow neither did I..
and I LOVE sporks. hehe

Lucid: 08-28-2010 04:46 PM

congratulations on post 300, Syric! **cheers and waves flags and throws confetti**

wow. that is interesting. I had no idea sporks were that old. or cool. I always thought it was a recent picnicking thing.

Syric 08-28-2010 04:50 PM

Thanks, Lucid :3

Sporks are awesome! And I didn't know they were that old either. I do know it's difficult to find a good spork anymore, or at least it is around here

Antigone 08-28-2010 04:51 PM

Syric ::: Yeah I think its hard to find a good one anywhere.. I haven't found any in years..
And I use to have a silver collection of them O.o
haha

Sei 08-28-2010 04:53 PM

Congrats, Syric! :'D

...and I don't know how hard core you are, but if you're cool with it, I would love to see some pictures. I've always wanted to go to a reenactment, but I'm not hard core enough. D:

Lucid: 08-28-2010 04:53 PM

I have only seen sporks in plastic form, with the exception of large wooden salad sporks. but I don't know if those are called sporks or something else.

why does spellcheck reject spork when it's a legitimate word?

Syric 08-28-2010 04:55 PM

No problem, Sei. I'll try to get some pictures. Most of the ones I can take will be in camp, but I've talked my girlfriend into going, so hopefully she will get some good pictures of us on the march and of the battle

Sei 08-28-2010 05:00 PM

That's awesome! Thank you so much, Syric! :'D

Sephiroth 08-28-2010 05:00 PM
